Villa Vie Odyssey Cruises Asia: Full Itinerary & Highlights
Get ready for an exciting new chapter in the cruise industry. Villa V Residences is making waves as it prepares to launch its operations in Asia and the Far East this August, marking a significant milestone as the Odyssey embarks on its inaugural Pacific voyage. Currently, the Odyssey is on route to Hakodate, Japan after successfully completing its summer program in Alaska at the end of July. After an adventurous 11-day journey across the ocean, this luxurious ship, which accommodates up to 650 guests, is scheduled to dock at the Japanese port on August 7th, 2025. Once it arrives, the Odyssey will kick off an exciting series of stops in Japan and South Korea. Travelers can look forward to exploring vibrant cities such as Sai, Shizuoka, Kochi, Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Fukuoka, and the beautiful island of Jedju. One of the standout features of this itinerary is a 4-day stay in Yokohama, providing guests with the perfect opportunity to venture into the bustling metropolis of Tokyo. Additionally, a 3-day visit to Coobe offers a gateway to the culturally rich cities of Osaka and Kyoto. After its time in Japan, the Odyssey will sail to Amami, Ishigaki, and Naha, wrapping up its Japanese itinerary in early September. But the adventure doesn’t stop there. The ship will then head south to explore captivating destinations in Taiwan and the Philippines, including Keong, Anping, Subcay, Manila, the stunning Borai Island, and Porto Princessa. As the Odyssey continues its journey through Asia, it has an ambitious schedule lined up with planned visits to ports in Guam, Micronesia, Palao, Indonesia, Australia, the Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Fiji, and Papua New Guinea all the way through December. The itinerary also includes stops at Wallace and Futuna, Samoa, American Samoa, and the breathtaking French Polynesia before the year concludes. Looking ahead to early 2026, the Odyssey will remain active in the South Pacific with plans to visit additional Australian destinations as well as New Calonia, Tonga, the Cook Islands, and more. In a recent celebration, Villa Ve marked a significant achievement by reaching its 100th port since launching services in late 2024. This milestone was celebrated during a visit to Icy Straight Point in Alaska, showcasing the ship’s extensive journey across various regions, including Africa, the Atlantic, the Caribbean, South America, Central America, and the Caribbean before making its way to Hawaii, and the Mexican Riviera, as well as the US West Coast, and Alaska. This ambitious expansion into Asia raises intriguing questions about the future of cruise travel in the region.
