Japans schönste Burgen Teil 2 – Burg Hirosaki 🏯

Hirosaki Castle is one of Japan’s 12 original castles. An hour from Aomori Station lies the city of Hirosaki, which also happens to be the country’s largest apple producer. Hirosaki Castle, or rather its tenshu (keep), is located in Hirosaki Park, which, with its 2,600 cherry trees, is considered one of the best places in the country to see the cherry blossoms. But it’s also worth a visit at other times of year. The tenshu is open to visitors from April to the end of November . Admission to the surrounding park costs 320 yen. In winter, you can only see the outside, but admission to the park is free.
