What type of diagnostic scanner are you all using that is compatible with a 1999 toyota century? Have a snap on one and its not connecting with the vehicle. Any help is much appreciated!
Pre ~2005 JDM cars didn’t have to be OBD2 standard, so different car makers kinda did their own thing.
I suspect you’ll need to work out what Toyota was using then, and get the proprietary Toyota software to talk to it.

I have a veepeak obd2 Bluetooth scanner that works on my jdm 2001 crown uzs175, I’m in the US, you just have to make sure the settings are right before you connect.
