Hi all. I'm going on a trip to Japan with my wife in a couple months and I would love to hear some cool recommendations for things to see and do as a car enthusiast (especially japanese stuff). Initially I wanted to go to Daikoku, but I've heard that it's kinda difficult to get there, and since I'm going with my wife I would like something more "interactive" so she doesn't get too bored while at it. I'm mainly going to be in Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka, so it would be best if It's near by those cities. Thank you all very much in advance!

Look at juicebox on YouTube, bunch of Irish lads who did a trip to Japan and went to see local car culture. I remember they went to an rc drift circuit and visited a load of other places. Lots of good ideas there

Kyoto, 竹林の小径. It’s so famous nowadays and filled with foreign tourists, so you should go in the early morning (before 6 A.M.). You can go Daikoku easily if you got a rental car.
Spoon Sport!

I recommend you [here ](https://www.hyatt.com/unbound-collection/ja-JP/fswub-fuji-speedway-hotel), Fuji Speedway Hotel. This hotel is in the same building with [a great car museum](https://fuji-motorsports-museum.jp/) which was established by Toyota. It is at Shizuoka, far from Tokyo or Kyoto but Shizuoka is at the middle of the way to Kyoto from Tokyo!
