PART 3 – Maximizing Tokyo DisneySea with Disney Premier Access
What is going on everyone and welcome to Tokyo Disney Sea. What an exciting day this is. Uh we’ve been looking forward to this for a really long time and it’s going to be a great day. We’re going to be walking you through using the Disney premiere uh access and also even using the free 40th anniversary kind of fastes that you can get. So with that being said, let’s go and have some fun. It’s a Mickey. You got this. So, we’re walking into the park. It is literally 9:07. We’ve been here since like 6:00. We’ll get more into that later, but 9:07. We already have booked two Disney Premiere access passes. One for Peter Pan, one for Rapunzel, and we have a 40th anniversary pass for 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. And you might be wondering, how do you already have two when you can only book one at a time? Well, that would be called stacking. Okay, I got 20,000 leagues 10:05 to 11:05. Perfect. Yeah. And then at 9:05, literally in a minute, I’ll be able to book our next premiere if if we want to do another one. Only thing we didn’t do premiere for was Toy Story Mania. Yeah. I mean, I don’t necessarily need to pay to do that, but No, I don’t want to pay to do that either. I guess if there’s something else. How do I know when I can book the next 40th anniversary one? Um, go like you’re going to book one. Okay. And it’ll tell you right there. Can be issued after 10:05. Okay. If you’ve ever used Fastpass, you kind of know how to use the system. If you’ve ever used Lightning Lane, you also know how to use the system. If you use Lightning Lane, you should know how like kind of stacking works. A lot of people think that it’s really confusing to use Premier Access here at Tokyo Disney. It kind of sounds confusing. I thought it was confusing, but as soon as you scan into the park, you can book your first Disney Premiere access pass. that starts at 9:00 a.m. We were in the park roughly 9:02, 9:03 by the time we got through the turn styles because they do it on the exact time. Oh, is that the queue back there? Well, we should have followed everybody else, I guess. Yeah, we’re trying to get the Saurin to rope drop here. And I said rope drop the other day and somebody didn’t know what I was talking about. So, I guess I’ll have to explain that later, too. Uh, but anyway, as soon as we scanned into the park, I booked Peter Pan because we did not get to ride that yesterday. So, we’ve got Peter Pan for 9:05 to 10:05. You get that hour window at 9:05. Once that time starts, you can then book your second pass or your next pass, that is. So, we also have Rapunzel for 9:20 to 10:20. So, we’re rope dropping Saurin so we can do it first, not have to pay for it. And then we’re going to go to Peter Pan and Rapunzel, which is really nice cuz the two attractions are really close together. Um, sorry if there was a little delay in communication there. We were hustling up a hill trying to find the end of the start of the queue and we’ve made it. It was a long queue though. It’s not soaring, it’s soaring with a G. But I love how different so many attractions that are featured in other countries and other theme like uh Disney theme parks, just how different they are sometimes in their theming to make them more unique. This queue is the best soaring queue we’ve done cuz we did Disney World, Disneyland, and now this. Yeah, this is the best queue by far. It just has a good visual like theme to it. Yeah. Whereas like Disney World is more like This gets you really immersed into the attraction. Disney World is like more industrialized. I would say it is. And I want to say it’s more because it’s in like future world, but at the time when it was built, it was future world, but now it’s in like that um world nature. I think I think that’s what it’s called now. So they could update the queue. Oh, was that were we crooked there first? That’s okay. That’ll fix. Hopefully it won’t take too much longer from here. But I love again I love the theming in here. It’s really cool. Oh, that’s cool. Stuff comes to life on the walls. Fantastic. We’ll be there 6 minutes, right? Yeah. No, we have 3 minutes, 2 minutes, 1 and 1/2 minutes now. Yeah, we still got to scan in. Thank you, bro. Literally with like 30 seconds. So, we didn’t really get to talk about Saurin and all, but the theming for the Saurin attraction itself is really cool, but the ride is exactly the same as what’s in Disney World. So, that was kind of disappointing. But check out this Q space. The queue is awesome in here for £100. Okay. All right. So, we’ve now gotten to do quite a bit, but we’re now running into a little bit of an issue here, which essentially is that where the way that we stacked all of our passes didn’t really account for attractions going down. So, we’re hoping that since some of the rides were actually like broke down, like so we Peter Pan was a fantastic attraction except for the fact that just as we scanned our things and got into the space, it shut down. Um, which means that we’ve now passed our return time for Rapunzel. Rapunzel’s. So, we’re going to see if we can still use it. Hopefully, we can cuz we paid for it. Oh, excellent. Thank goodness. Thank you. I read in the rules that if you missed your time, they would not honor it and that your QR code would become inactive. So maybe they have changed that because we are 19 minutes past our time because we got stuck in the Peter Pan queue cuz the ride showed down. I know Josh already said that. We made it. It turned green. No issues. No blue, no red, nothing like that. Green. We’re good to go. So, don’t make it a habit to show up for rides late. Like, just, you know, if it happens to you because you get stuck in a queue or whatever, you will be fine. I get to ride the hour. Okay. Uhoh, that’s a big eyeball. Oh no, you can do it. Definitely is better to wait to ask to wait to sit in the front being on the sides. Well, we didn’t know that there was like different sections. They just said two people and we were like, “Yeah, sure.” So, we went. But it was still really good. Uh it was a cool ride. I like that one. It was I liked that, too. Yeah. Right there. All right, for lunch today we are eating at the cafe and we’ve got two chickens. So, they are pretty big portion sizes and Taylor and I definitely should have shared, but I’m literally said I wanted the sugar. I’m a hungry boy today. So, uh it looks really good. We came in here last night with our friends that we met on the cruise from Australia and they had uh basically the same stuff. So, we figured today we were coming back, we just have it again. Um the peach and raspberry and the tropical fruit. Thank you. Father Mickey and Minnie. Oh my god, look at that. Excuse me. Could you take a photo for us? Perfect. Yes. Thank you. Can I get another video? Oh, actually just Thank you. You’re welcome. Thank you so much. Have a good day. Thank you. That’s awesome. That’s super cool. Got myself a happy birthday. Where are we going? I want to go to a mermaid lagoon. Okay. and ride those couple rides or at least one of them. Please start. Yeah. The official’s faces. Oh, it’s fast. I can help you. It’s pretty short. It’s a short line right now. Gasp. The line is short. So, we thought of all popcorn stands today, this one would be extremely long cuz it was yesterday, but surprisingly it’s not. Yeah. Um, our friends that we met on the cruise that were here yesterday, they came and waited in this line and said that they barely ever moved for like a long, long time. And actually, I just checked on the app and it will tell you roughly estimate what the wait times are for like snack stands. Most of them say 0 to 10 minutes because it’s a snack stand. But for this one, it said 10 to 30 minutes for the popcorn. And I can smell the beef. Me, too. I’m excited to try it. Me, too. Hello. One popcorn, please. Yes, please. Thank you. Initial reactions. My least favorite. Tastes like meat. No, it smells like it. Needs salt. Definitely different. Is this all me? No. I don’t like it. Well, we haven’t got to go into the Fantasy Springs gifts yet. So, we’re going to head on here. Apparently, this is the only entrance into the store is from within the park. So, keep that in mind. Within the hotel. Yeah, keep that in mind. You can’t access it apparently from the hotel, but we’re going to go in and check it out. See what they got. Hello. Hello. Wow. Some nice stuff in here. So, I would expect that this is all going to be pretty much like a heavy Fantasy Springs theme. It’s really interesting cuz like this is a huge thing that they sell here are these like candy boxes that have all different types of candies in them. Oh, so they do have some of this merchandise at um at that main store up at the front of the park I looked at yesterday cuz I saw like these hats and stuff up there. I don’t think they had everything but some of it. So, we’re getting the chance to actually explore a little bit more Fantasy Springs and it’s really amazing like the detail and artwork that’s built into the rock features here. Yeah, we almost missed all this. Oh, well look. Yeah, cuz there is Malips and the dragon. Oh, and Aurora. That’s so cool. That’s super cool. And we have Sorcerer Mickey over here. The fairies. The three fairies. Is she or not? How cool is that? The magic mirror. Some birds over there, but I don’t see Snow White. Where’s she at? All right. Taylor and I are going to wait. Hello. To meet Duffy. It’s a 60minute wait, which is We going to be waiting. astronomical. But we don’t have any agenda. We got to do basically everything that we’ve wanted to do yesterday and then more today. So why not take the time, relax, unwind, and uh say hello. Hi. Hi, Dy. Nice to see you. Bye. Oh, yeah. Hi. Thank you. Thanks, you. Bye. Please check the ball. Oh, yeah. They’re good. Is that okay? Yes. Okay. Thank you. Thank you. All right. Well, we got to meet Duffy and it took literally about an hour. 60 minutes. No, it was 50 minutes. 50 minutes. Yeah. But still. So, it was a long wait. And it was also different because Oh, yes. Like in Disney World when you go to meet a character, you kind of just like walk up and they like they interact with you right away. But here they asked if we were in there together to get the photo. So, I was trying to get video of like Taylor going in and interacting with Duffy. And then Duffy just stood there like waiting for me to also come get in the photo. So, even though you were taking the photo. Even though I was taking the photos. Yeah. So, it’s I think what’s nice though is that the cast members are there to make sure that they know. Like before we walked in, she said, “Which is the camera?” And I pointed like I showed it was Taylor’s phone. she was going to take the phone to take the photos. So, they do like to make sure that they are trying to get the photos that you want. And even as we were going out the exit, the cast member asked us to check the photos to make sure that they were good. Not that like if they weren’t, I don’t know, would we I don’t know get back in line or something to get the photo, but it was still was really great to get to actually meet Duffy. Uh, you know, that is a character that I for the most part I don’t think is ever in Walt Disney World, right? No, I think he was maybe at one point in time, but it’s been years since that. So, that’s cool. two, please. Thank you. Oh my god, they are so warm. Taylor’s not even going to get to have any. I’m going to eat these all by myself. They smell fantastic. So, the reason we got these is because, well, they look more pretzel shaped than they look like a Mickey, but it’s a Mickey. You get the picture. No, you got to hold. Don’t put your Hold on. I’m trying to like get it so that it look cute though. Thanks. Oh, it smells good. I just got a whiff of it. Give me mine. Give me mine. Give me Give me Give me Yeah. I mean, it’s a pretty good churo. Just like any normal churro, except it’s a little Mickey shape. Yeah. Pretty good. Mhm. We wanted to come down and check out the uh Toy Story Mania entrance down here cuz as you can see it’s Woody’s face. And to enter into the ride, you actually go into his mouth, which is could be construed as being a little weird, but uh it’s still pretty cool. They got some green army men out here meeting and greeting with guests, which is cool. Being here makes me really want a corn dog. Wish I could get one. All righty, everybody. We’re going to be riding the Aquattopia. Thank you for that. I think they were Oh, no. Woo! Oh boy, speeding. Oh, get wet. All right, so Taylor and I just finished the uh Aquattopia, which was pretty cool. But while we were out there, we could see the gate out here to the bay. And Taylor was really concerned because there’s a crack in it and the water’s coming in for a second. I was concerned for a second and then was like, they would never do that. You want to see? Do it. I’m going to take your picture. Oh, yeah. Because Ready? One, two. Okay. Thank you. Thank you so much. Oh, yeah. Oh, no. That’s good. Yes. Thank you. Thank you. No, we don’t. Oh. Oh, yes. Oh, super cool. Oh, thank you. Thank you. Oh my gosh. Yes. I’m so excited. Well, that was really cool. We uh we just got to ride I well I didn’t get any interaction of it because I was holding the flag but Taylor got some photos and we just got some first ride stickers for uh Aquatopia which was you know that means it’s not super thrilling or anything but um it’s still very cool. Now it doesn’t say what the ride is for. It just says first ride Tokyo Disney Sea so it’s kind of cool. Take your picture. Hi Oh, awesome. Thank you so much. Bye. My least favorite thing to do is meet characters, but I made Josh do it anyway. It is pretty cool though how like a lot of the characters there aren’t stationary meet and greets for the most part when it when it comes to this like park and in Disneyland, I think. Yeah, there’s not a lot of stationary meet and greets. Now, we did do Duffy, which is stationary. There are a few like that that you have to go inside for the most part. Everybody or all the characters are usually just out and about walking around and it comes down to just having patience to meet them. So yeah, let’s ride uh Nemo and friends. Well, it’s our last dinner here in Tokyo Disney Sea. Your mic’s off, by the way. But we’ve got some food here. So, we did a uh basically a fried seafood platter. Uh-huh. It’s got some maybe pickled vegetables or something like that. some potatoes and then shrimp, white fish, and I can’t remember what the other thing is. Me neither. And then I got this um looks like a croquette, I think. I got this blueberry crumble cake. Thought I’d give it a try. And then I got this uh peach and mango tea. Sounds good. Sparkling. I got apple tea soda. It’s basically golden Fanta. I will say I really do love the fry on this. It’s like a real nice uh white panko. This is really good. Let me try some white fish. Oh, so good. Well, I would say that our food was pretty good. No need to show us really eating it too much except for Taylor over there. I saved my shrimp for last because it was so tasty and it’s huge. Yeah. So, there was the shrimp, the white fish, and then the third thing was a crab cream proette. It was pretty good. It was also very good. It tastes a lot like a blueberry muffin. Oh, yeah. Okay. Yeah. It’s pretty good, though. Oh, daddy sad. She’s calling me.

Looking up Tokyo trips again 👀 I am not a fan of cold and April looked kind of chilly. Thoughts on the temps in general?
Duffy used to be in EPCOT. He is Mickey’s toy that Minnie made. Taylor you have lost so much weight. Looking good.
