WILLER EXPRESS will increase services to Yumeshima, the Osaka/Kansai Expo site, from July 19 to August 30.
Currently, there is one round-trip service originating from Tokyo, and during this period, an additional round-trip will be added, making it a total of two round-trips. The outbound trip departs from Busta Shinjuku at 11 PM and arrives at Yumeshima at 7:55 AM the next day. The return trip departs Yumeshima at 9:30 PM and arrives at Busta Shinjuku at 7:20 AM the next day. The service will stop at the WILLER Bus Terminal Osaka Umeda. The operating period is from July 20 to August 30 for departures from Tokyo, and from July 19 to August 29 for departures from Osaka.
The company began services to Yumeshima on April 21, with a passenger load factor of 98% over the first three months, indicating almost full capacity. The proportion of passengers boarding and alighting at Yumeshima on the Shinjuku-Umeda/Yumeshima route has been gradually increasing, exceeding half since July.
