The best way to travel to South πŸ‡°πŸ‡· from Japan πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅

Most people fly from Japan to Korea. We found a smarter way. Instead of flying from Fukuoka to Busousan, we took the ferry and it turned out to be cheaper and way more chill. Check in easy. You even get a kind of your own bed. And yes, that means you can lie down and sleep instead of sitting upright for hours. We grabbed the bed by the window and had a front row view of the ocean. Heads up, the ferry terminal has zero food options, so grab snacks before you arrive. Though the ferry has a vending machine that makes hot noodles. There’s also a duty-free shop where we grab some beers only to realize later that the ferry sells soju for even cheaper. And let’s be honest, a South Korea trip kind of demands Soju moment. Once on board, we were shocked. This thing is massive. Viewing decks, lounges, clean bathrooms. It felt more like a floating hostel than a boat. There was one major thing missing though. I have mentioned that in the caption along with how to book and what it cost. If you’re traveling with luggage or just hate airports, this is the move. Save this for your next trip and follow if you like travel hacks that don’t suck.

β€’ Route: Fukuoka (Hakata Port) β†’ Busan International Ferry Terminal

🧳 What to Pack
β€’ Snacks (no convenience stores in the terminal!)
β€’ Travel pillow / light blanket
