Pinpoints | E17 “Just Another Momijigari Sunday” | Fukushima, Japan | A Retirement Travel Channel

This is the most unique museum I’ve ever visited. The Morohashimma. Nestled in the trees along the Bandai skyline, the building itself is a piece of art. The museum was created on the art collection of Taso Morohashi, founder of a huge Japanese sportsear conglomerate. Morohashi has over 350 Salvador Dolly pieces, one of the leading collections in the world. The collection also includes beautifully curated works by Seaison Van Go Matise Mero and my favorite artist Shagal [Music] Morohashi figured it out. [Music] It’s a two for one Sunday. [Music] This is Bishimon Numapond, a famous lake within the five volcanic Goshikama ponds formed when Mount Bandai erupted in 1888. The deep emerald green color is caused by the heavy mineral presence. Real beauty is so simple. [Music] Cohiba would be nice right now.
