Japan’s High-Speed Train Network is Insane 🇯🇵 (Osaka to Hiroshima)

Hello YouTube or good day and good morning
guys from the beautiful Japan. Osaka Osaka Japan. Today we are using the JR West Pass
to go on the bullet train all the way to Hiroshima. Wow. So we’re with Yosen and Dad
again today. And uh yeah, come along with us as we use this 5-day pass using the JR lines
here in Japan. Let’s go. Let’s go. [Music] So, we’re currently staying
around the Benchill area. So, we got to get on the metro and go
all the way to Shin Osaka. [Music] On our last trip to Japan, we booked our
N and Kyoto day trips, plus a night river cruise all through Cluke. It made everything
super easy to plan in advance and it took the stress out of figuring how to do things
on the spot. If you haven’t heard of them, Cluke is a one-stop travel platform where you
can book everything from trains, hotels to tours, attractions, and more. It’s available in
thousands of destinations, and the prices are honestly great. Right now, they’re running
a special campaign called Beyond Japan 101, which includes things like Have Fun Japan Pass,
giving you a flexible 14 days across 11 regions. There’s also the JR West Hiroshima area pass
with unlimited rides on Express and Rapid Trains and even a Universal Studios Japan pass
with access to over 60 attractions. So, if you’re heading to Japan and want to
save money and time while getting the best out of your trip, then click the link
in our description, download the Cluke app, and use our code Jack Sophia for
10% off your first booking. [Music] [Music] Okay, cool. So, these tourist information
centers are really handy. By the way, guys, if you’re in Tokyo or Aaka or even some other main
cities, there’s the tourist information center. If you can’t speak Japanese and you don’t want to
use the machines, this is a great place to go. Um, so we got our reserved tickets, but
we don’t put these tickets in. Oh, wow. Thank you so much. Uh-oh. Almost
forgot my passport. Um, see, so helpful. It’s important you go here, guys. So, these are
our reserved tickets. Uh, so we don’t put those in the machine. We just use this to find our
seat. These are our passes for the next 5 days, and we put these in the machines to get into
the platform. So, yeah, pretty easy. [Music] So, as you can see, this is our bullet train
here, and it is long. So, we’re in car 16, which is all the way down this end. I
think there’s around maybe 18 cars. So, you can see now the gates are just
closing cuz everyone got off. And uh they’re going to clean the train.
And then after that, we can get back on. In case you didn’t know, it confused me the
first time I came to Japan cuz I almost got on when they were cleaning it and they’re like,
“Get off. Get off.” And I’m like, “Oh, sorry.” [Music] So guys, this is our train here
and we are carriage 16, which is literally right at the front or the back, I don’t know.
Depends on what way we’re going. Uh so yeah, right at the front which is so cool. So wow,
so excited. So you can see here Hashima, that’s us. Uh they’ll open the
gate soon and then we can get on. [Music] [Music] Okay, guys. We did it. We got our big bags up
there somehow. They just fit. And I remember last time that they just fit. So that’s why we
tried to put them up there. Now it was three big bags for our friend. This one and this one.
Yeah. So so many bags. Proud of you. But yeah, we got on the train. Um Yeah. And all good. We’re
already moving at uh 300 km or an hour or close to. Um so yeah, love bullet trains. Love the JR
West Pass. Super convenient. 5 days of completely free unlimited highspeed train rail, which is so
cool. We can travel on the west side of Japan. So, we’re just in the standard class for today
because that’s what the ticket came with, which is still really comfortable. The seats
are a good comfortability. You can also uh recline your seat just here with this button.
You can see here uh there’s no one behind me, so you can recline pretty far actually.
A good nice big clean window view. [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] Yeah, there’s a spot for storage. You
also have spot to put your laptop, do some work, or, you know, eat some
food. There’s also a bag hook here, which I’ll put Sophia’s bag on for you.
Thank you. Welcome. So, I believe we’re on the train for an hour and a half. Um, not
bad. Not bad. So, what’s the train so far, darling? I think it’s really cool. Yeah. Yeah.
The color of your shirt matches the seat. I can’t [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] It’s so calm. It’s clean and quiet. Quiet.
Yeah. Yeah, it’s really quiet. Like when I was like filming before, I was going to
talk and like no one was saying anything and it’s so awkward to vlog cuz everyone’s just
so quiet. So, we’ve got about I think we’ve done Yeah, we’re about halfway now. You can see
our little blue dot there on the line. So, we’re about halfway. So, we’ve
got about 45 minutes left. [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] We made it. [Music] Hi. So, I’m starving. So, this is
going to be a very quick tour. So, we are at our home for two nights. So, this
is Yosen’s favorite room with a rocking chair. Wow. Nice little room. Yeah. And what’s in
here? Here we have shower, bathroom, toilet, everything. Oh, we have a washing machine as
well. So, yeah, pretty pretty good. And what else do we have? And here’s our big living room.
Wow, look at this with the kitchen. Yeah. Oh, wow. Has all the kitchen supplianes. Appliances.
So cute. Right. Is our two beds and we’ve got a big area here. Right. Big area. I can dance
here. We can jump and look around. Such a nice um apartment. Yeah. And here we have our
nice TV. Awesome. Cool. All right. Let’s go get some food. Okay, let’s do the bed test
first. Oh, yeah. Okay. How is it out of 10? 10. 10. Okay. 10 for now. Let’s see. Yeah, let’s not
lay down otherwise I won’t move from here. Okay, we’re starving. We’re starving. Ready for Takali.
So, we found bye house. See you soon. We found a uh we found a Nepali food restaurant literally
10 minutes down here. So, let’s go there now. Get some lovely Nepali food. We’ve been craving
it. So, sorry to all the Japanese viewers. Today, we’re going to get Nepali food. But yeah, if
you like that Airbnb and if you want to come here to Hiroshima, see all of the history, see
the history about the uh about the atomic bomb that happened here and the museum and you want
a place to stay, then we’ll leave that Airbnb linked in the description. Uh not sponsored,
but as you saw, it was a great Airbnb. So yeah. [Music] Okay. So, where did we just get to?
Indian restaurant. Indian restaurant. So, uh they don’t actually have Nepali food here,
but they have Indian food which is a little bit similar. Yeah, still with Japanese
rice. Uh Indian rice is very expensive. Basmati rice is very expensive to import.
So, they use Japanese rice here. [Music] Okay, so we just finished up a beautiful lunch
there. Did you like it? Really good food. It was really nice and yummy. We might even go
back there. Um, so tomorrow we’re actually going to go to the Hiroshima Museum. And make
sure you click the link in our description. Uh, thanks to Cluke for sponsoring this video
and uh, helping us with the JR West Pass. So, if you want to get to this area of Japan,
travel around all the rail on here. Yeah. Thank you guys so much for watching and
as always, keep it real. Cheers. Bye.

  1. Cool series. I like Japan. I hope to visit it in the future. By the way, I have a question. In the comments, it says FREE OKINAWA, and you put a like to it. What do you mean by this? Free Okinawa. What does it mean to you? Is it related to the Americans for you?

  2. Hey guys, just some clarification we had to get this video up, but please know this Saturday we will be posting Tibet content and content for the next six weeks thank you so much. ❤️🌏 enjoy the video and don’t forget to check out Klook.

  3. Awesome info Jack, thanks mate. Will come in handy for sure 🤩. Always great to see how trains work in Asia, those places are sick and on time. Have a great wednesday, and as always C ya in the next one, cheers🙏

  4. Thank you for sharing more of your travels in Japan. We are just back from a family holiday there ourselves, three days ago. Thanks again ❤❤

LG . Klaus.

  6. The bullet train looks like an airplane and you can put stuff like in the overhead bin? Jack and Sophia.

  7. My dream countries are America🇺🇸 and Japan, but America is quite far to visit, hopefully one day I can go to Japan, I enjoyed watching your video, greetings from Indonesia.
