Hiroshima – one of the places that impressed me the most out of everything I’ve seen in the world so far!!!
It is a place not to be missed!
The Peace Memorial Park “speaks” at every step about the tragedy that happened 80 years ago, when the first atomic bomb ever used caused devastation here! And the museum is heartbreaking!!! I was hypnotized by the exhibits and read their stories, even though I knew their images would stay with me for a long time!
We should not forget, and above all, we should learn from what these people went through. Too often, we take the word “peace” too lightly…
(I can’t wait to write about Hiroshima on my blog. August 6 brought back memories of my trip to the city from some time ago.)
