Best View/Infinity Category No.1 in Kanto Area

Thank you for watching. Today’s inn Kowakidani Onsen “Hakone Kowakien Ten-yu” Hello, I’m shiba. I’m in Odawara station. Shopping center “Ruska” directly connected to the station After passing through the east exit, you will find a bus stop. There is a way to get to the inn by train, but this time I’ll take the local bus. Take the “Izu Hakone Bus” to the stop “Ten-yu”. Since it is a local bus, some people boarded on the way, but it was not so crowded and everyone was able to sit down. It took about 50 minutes, including the congested section. There it is, a large building at the top of the hill! Today’s inn Kowakidani Onsen “Hakone Kowakien Ten-yu” A big building with presence, cool! Opened in 2017, all rooms have an open-air bath. High-class hotel in Hakone-Kowakien, operated by Fujita Kanko. This is a very popular hot-spring hotel. Looking forward to! Some staffs were standing by at the entrance. The female staff in kimono is lovely! The staff will guide you to your room. 9 floors, 150 rooms in total We’ve arrived at the 7th floor. Large windows are in sight. Let’s take a look… A spectacular view! It’s a forest. Ten-yu is being built on the site of the closed Hakone Hotel Kowakuen, and we are looking forward to seeing the various attractions on the 2,700 tsubo site. Today’s room 721 Open This is a standard type of room, but spacious enough. A Japanese-style room with twin beds with stylish Ryukyu tatami mats. The weather is not good, so it is a little dark. I’ll turn on the lights. Nice! The best selling point is that all rooms have open-air hot spring baths. Moreover, it’s a private source! The door is fairly heavy. The bathtub is Shigaraki ware. It is large enough to fit one person. It is on a hill so you can’t see it from the outside, but it would be difficult to see the view while bathing. Stylish hunking chair! 15 minutes for automatic hot water heating Hot and cold water are also available. It is helpful to be able to make adjustments. There is also an indication of the ingredients of the hot spring, which gives a good impression. I’m going to go back to my room and look here and there. A sofa and chairs are also low and comfortable. The bed mattress is thick and fluffy! I searched for quite a bit. Here are the outlets around the bed. TV, chest, and table Water service available. The lower level has cups and cups, drip coffee and sencha tea. Empty refrigerator. Turn it on and use it. Inside the chest is a set of yukata. All sizes are available, so you can try them on and decide. I am glad that samue is also available. PIN-type safe There is also a size chart, which is kind. Red belt in an austere hue. I like it. It is still easier to wear this one when sleeping. There is a haori in the closet. Restrooms. Clean is best! I guess the washroom is at the back. It is clean, and the white and dark brown are nice. Amenities There are many amenities available, but use only what you need. Hand wash cleansing oil and other products are DHC. This kind of mirror is very useful! The bottom bath towel is used in the open-air bath in your room. Good shape! The height and size were easy to use. The dryer is made by Panasonic. The basket is made of soft material, which is also easy to use. Towels are available in the public bath, so you don’t need to bring your own. This is the shower booth. It looks like it hasn’t been used much and is very clean. You also have a rain shower. Room tour ends. I’m going to have a tea time and go for a walk in the inn. Fluffy pastry with custard cream. Delicious! Sorry for the post-drink video. Heart at the bottom of the cup, cute! I’m at the entrance. There is also a guide map of the mountain, which is easy to understand. The hotel is located at an altitude of 600 meters. It is raining today, but if the weather is good, you will be able to see far into the distance. Perhaps this is the best view point! The terrace on the lobby side is a relaxing space with sofas. This one is surrounded by trees and full of negative ions. Wow, forest! The flowers in the lobby are gorgeous, and seem to be high-class. Continue through the lobby and you will find a large lounge. They seem to have won various awards. Free drinks in the lounge. Cold herbal tea and barley tea are available. There is a bulletin board for plastic reduction (SDGs) initiatives. There was some Aruheito (candy), so I took it. Ashigara tea flavor. It is delicious with a low sweetness. Check-in is getting crowded and English is being spoken everywhere. It is a global hotel with many foreign guests. The Ten-yu’s logo object was created to commemorate the 5th anniversary of the opening of the inn. Here it is! Stylish. Children’s yukata are selected in the lounge. Sizes are S-L. In addition to yukata, geta and amenities are also available. There is also a notice board with information such as the time of sunrise from the infinity bath, concerts to be held in the lounge, etc. Today, a chanson singer will be on stage. Unfortunately, I can’t play the audio because the song titles are copyrighted. It was a beautiful singing voice! I’m singing Sweet Memory right now, so I’m turning off the sound. When I looked at who this kid was through Google Lens, it was an AI robot with hotel specifications. It was on it waiting for the elevator to open. So cute. It can do deliveries to your room, etc. Dinner is served from 8:00 p.m., so I will go see the courtyard lit up first. The courtyard is accessed through a doorway on the first floor. Open 5:00-21:00. Barely, the rain has stopped. Is this sound probably the sound of water from a waterfall? The lighting up of the bamboo tube objects is fantastic. The light reflecting the waterfall is beautiful. There are two staircases. It looks spacious. At the top of the stairs is a red torii gate. I can’t figure it out. I’ll have to come back tomorrow when it’s light. 8:00 p.m. Dinner at the dining room “Hakone”. Dinner will be served in two parts, with the 1st half starting at 18:00 and the 2nd half at 20:00. Dinner times are listed in the accommodation plan, but the first half of the plan was no longer available when I made the reservation. If you wish to attend the 1st half, please make your reservation as soon as possible. It’s a large dining room with a lot of depth. I took my seat. The beverage menu is colorful and easy to understand. I think I’ll take this one. Window seat. Like this. The cuisine is kaiseki, but there seems to be a theme. “Hakone Seven Lucky Gods Tour” with dishes It seems like a good idea to eat with the description. Wow, dry ice! It is said to be inspired by the image of a treasure casket. Seasonal Sesame Tofu The presentation and vessel are both beautiful. Sashimi: tuna, great amberjack, sea bream, razor clam, yuba Appetizers: ayu fish, herring roe on kelp, chicken loaf, etc. Sesame Tofu with Cherry Blossoms It is chewy and delicious. I ordered a plum wine with soda. Fish dish: grilled abalone and potatoes The lobster is in the back. Both are high-grade ingredients. It was well tasted. Meat dish: Sukiyaki A slightly unexpected menu. The beaten egg has yam in it, which goes well with the meat. Cooked up! Hot! Hakone-toge no Kamameshi They are cooking seasonal ingredients. Let’s have it with sukiyaki. Red miso soup and pickles also came. Dessert: matcha pudding with fruit jelly Beautiful The jellies are delicious and not too sweet. The fluffy cream on top is also delicious! I’m more satisfied when the final dessert is elaborate! Thank you for the meal. The lighting from the reception area to the dining room is also a nice touch. I came to the lobby at night. As expected, there are few people. I thought I liked the cherry blossoms behind the front, and the lights were on. It’s good for Japaneseness + fashionable! I’m full, but I’ll just say, good night. Good morning. Rain is falling on and off. 6:50a.m. The breakfast buffet starts at 7:00 a.m., so I came as soon as I could. During the buffet, I have to move crisply so that the photography doesn’t disturb the customers. The live kitchen is large and well-staffed. The greeting calls are cheerful and lively! It is the same window side as at dinner, but the view makes all the difference. The dining room looks like this. Let’s start with drinks. There are a wide variety. There are also two coffee servers. Live kitchen with a view of the kitchen Omelets are made to order. There are three kinds, but I got greedy and went for the cheese and truffle mix. I enjoy watching the chef’s frying pan work! French toasts made with the finest ingredients and pancakes What an all-you-can-eat crab, too! Put as much seafood on rice as you like. You can make your favorite rice bowl. I put a lot of salmon roe on it. Fried horse mackerel, a specialty of Odawara The meat is thick and crispy. I had my doubts about eating oden in the morning, but it was flavorful and delicious. A large tuna kabuto! The dish is tuna with mayonnaise. For miso soup, add ingredients of your choice. Here you can make your own bruschetta and canapés. A wide variety of hams and cheeses are available. The variety of bread is breathtaking! Maybe it’s for many foreign customers. Salads are also ingenious. Yogurt and toppings I’ve taken a lot of things! It is a lot compared to the amount I usually take. It was not crowded with people and it was easy to get food. Japanese people rush to popular places, but they don’t. All the dishes were well prepared and delicious! The view from the large windows is of the courtyard. The greenery is refreshing. For dessert, I chose fruit and pudding. I’m very satisfied. Thank you for the meal. This is the lobby in the morning, around 8:00 a.m. There was a pre-payment machine, so I paid the bill. The rain came just in time, so I’m off to the courtyard. Sounds amazing. Looks like it rained all night, so the water level may be increasing. Here is a full view of the waterfall, which I couldn’t make out last night. The lights are nice, but this is also a great spot to see it in the light hours. There is a guide to the walking trails. It’s huge. Probably the same stairs we climbed last night. Let’s go! The red torii gate on the hill was the Hakone Onsen Shrine. The Hakone Shrine’s deity, Hakone Ookami, is said to be enshrined here. “Waterfall and the torii gate” were the spots that I would like to visit for good luck! I’m back in my room. I’d like to fill the open-air bath with hot water. Automatic hot water heating is good for peace of mind. Source: Kowakien supply hot spring Spring quality: Sodium chloride hot spring Spring temperature: 76.5℃, pH: 7.4 Clear and colorless, with added water Photographing of the public bath is not allowed. The source is the same, with heating and circulation. The water is hot. Last night I put the hot water on before dinner, and when I got back and went in, the water was just right. Yukata were on display at the shop. Since there are many foreigners, this exhibit may also serve as a sample of how to wear it. It is not very spacious. It’s enough to fit the needs of a small souvenir. They also had the original bouillabaisse that we had for breakfast. Snacks that are not too large to be carried as luggage Standard Hakone Rusk Folk crafts of Hakone. The coaster of wooden mosaic work. Vessels with Ten-yu’s logo There is also a cup with a heart on the bottom that was in the room. Bottled food lasts a long time, doesn’t it? Umeshu (plum wine) from Soga Plum Grove. I bought it because it was delicious. It is time to check out. It is indeed a high class in Hakone. The facilities, food, and hospitality were impeccable, and the inn was wonderful. Thank you for helping me.
