Makishi market, Naha, Okinawa #Meta #Quest #VR
So I am at Kokusai Dori Street in Naha Okinawa. And now if I turn right here, I would be entering Makkesishi Market. This is Makishi Market. Look at the overhead view. So if I zoom out, zoom out some more. See from here to here, if I go straight in this alley, it’s Makishi market. Part of Makishi market is Ha Dori. It means Ha street. Dori means street. Kokoai Dori basically means Kokoai street. So let me venture inside Makkesishi market. This is Makishi Market. As you can see, there’s a lot of vendors inside like this one. They selling boba. Keep going. Or this one. Bunch of knickknacks and liquor dresses. Keep going. And let’s look at the map. So on the map, I have to zoom in. So it’s Makkesishi Market is big. So I’ll have to keep going here. So here you get the idea. There’s an ice cream here and more boba. Oh, blue seal. Sorry, it’s blue seal. The famous ice cream of Okinawa. And also keep going. Wonder what this is. I have to see what it is. some kind of tamago or isakaya. I think tamaga is some kind of egg dish. Anyway, keep going. And I think if I go here, let’s see what’s inside this one. See the market is so it’s like a maze. And you can see here I just keep going here.
The Makishi Public Market was established in 1950 (Showa 25) based on the black market that was established soon after the war, and has supported Okinawa’s dining table as Naha’s large market (ufumachi). It is on Kokusaidori in Naha.
The Heiwa Shopping Street in Asahikawa is an important reference point for any tourist. Passing through was inevitable, even if I was not shopping, as many of the buses that serve the major attractions such as Asahiyama Zoo, Kawamura Kaneto Ainu Kinenkan, Otokoyama Sake Brewery and Ramen Village depart from the bus stops inbetween the malls Seibu and Feeeal. Familiarizing yourself with the Heiwa Shopping Street area is a great way to navigate around Asahikawa.
