Hiroshima in 3 days #japan #travel #hiroshima
Here are places to go to if you have three days in Hiroshima. For your first day, spend it in Hiroshima City, starting with Hiroshima Castle. It costs 370 yen for adults to get in. And you also get the 100 famous castle of Japan stamp here. Inside is a museum about the history of Hiroshima and of the castle itself. And here is a view from the topmost floor. From here, you can walk to the next destination, Oriuu Tower. It costs 2,300 yen to go up their observation deck. Yes, it is very pricey, but you get to enjoy this view mostly for yourself. It was not crowded at all. You can also see Hiroshima Castle and the atomic bomb dome from here. You can also take part in making a paper crane, and they have videos to help you with your origami, which was surprisingly easy to follow. Once you’re done, head over to the Oriu wall, make a wish, and drop your paper crane. It was honestly pretty scary to be walking in a cramped space on a glass surface. Once you’re ready to get down, you can either take the escalator or go down the cool cool cool slide. This was not what I was expecting because you need to stand up after every floor to proceed to the next slide. I get that it was for safety, but they could have done it in a way that you get up after every two floors. By the time I reached the fourth floor, I just walked down. The rest of my time here was spent at the Peace Park, starting with the Peace Memorial Museum. This was such a depressing museum, they even have the trigger warning before entering. I didn’t get to film the museum that much because it was so depressing. So, just see for yourself. So, we are all reminded of the dangers of nuclear weapons. Walking around the park, you would see the Senate, the Peace Memorial Hall, which is like another museum itself. the flame of peace that always burns, the children’s peace monument, and of course the Gimbaku dome or the atomic bomb dome. For the second day, head over to Miaima. You need to ride the ferry from Miaaguchi to get to the island. It is home to Its Kushima Shrine, which looks like it’s floating on water. [Music] You can also hike up or take the ropeway to Mount Miset, the island’s highest peak. Once on top, you get this gorgeous view of Hiroshima Prefecture. In my opinion, the deers here look better and healthier than the ones in N. Anagomeshi, oysters, and mumiji mangju are some of the local delicacies you should try. This video has gone too long, but on your third day, while technically Nyamaguchi Prefecture, Iwauni is a very accessible day from Hiroshima. Visit the Kintaio Bridge, Iwauni Castle, and Kiko Park. More about Iwaokuni in the next video, but those were the places where I spent my three days in Hiroshima.
There are so many things to do in and around Hiroshima, and here’s how I spent my three days there.
