Banyan Tree Higashiyama Kyoto will offer the “Shine Muscat & Grape Afternoon Tea” from August 1 to September 30.
The menu includes Shine Muscat sesame pudding harmonized with milk, Shine Muscat daifuku, Shine Muscat sake lees cream tart, grape and fig shira-ae monaka, grape yogurt cream, grape candy, among other sweets. Additionally, savory items such as eel sushi, pike conger with tomato jelly, moroheiya and myoga ohitashi, and sandwiches with Manganji pepper, bacon, and egg are provided. A DIY menu where you can grill your own dorayaki on a shichirin and enjoy it with seven types of sauces, including those made with adzuki bean paste, Shine Muscat, and grapes, is also available.
The location is the third floor kaiseki restaurant “Ryozen.” Service hours are from noon to 4 p.m. The price is 7,500 yen, inclusive of tax and service charges.
