Aimlessly wandering around Tokyo and Yokohama for 4 days
Hi everyone. I’m finally back with another vlog video. This time exploring Tokyo. And uh the day after I went to Disney Sea, I took it quite easy. I just took a walk down to Seno G. But on the way, I saw all of these incredible gardens out on the sidewalk where the locals had just used all of the space available to them. There were huge trees and bushes planted in just a tiny amount of space. Sometimes in pots, sometimes they’ broken through the pots into the ground. But you can see just how impressive the display is. And it really inspired me to come home and work on my own garden. All right, look. Ready? No. What’s your name? That’s right. I’m doing pretty And for example, that’s when the city used to be only Little touch. Come on. Hi, daddy. Enemies. You should Me too. I don’t know. question. Thank you. Hello. Go. Happy daddy. Foreign speech. Foreign speech. Foreign speech. pretty much awesome. Stop. I won’t do that. down there. What did I get? I feel to eat You don’t know about me. Yeah. Yeah. You going to know about me. Wow. This way. 754 when you look at to say daddy. Here we are. I couldn’t like coming. Come here. Come here. Come here. And that’s the pork. That’s the tasty beef. In this table bit, you’ve got sauces. and chopsticks. Yeah, both really good. I’m not really into the fish ones, so there isn’t um too many meat options here. I think I’m going to regret this. I ordered uh tuna and nasty taste like anything. So, all you’re really tasting is the tuna, which is okay. Next up is uh eel and egg, which I know it’s a weird combination, but I just wanted to try eel. So, let’s get quite nice. Uh sort of sweet. This isn’t bad. I think I still prefer the meat one. And you don’t have to just get uh sushi. You can also get things like uh fried corn, onion rings, French fries, things like that. So there is a few options at least um for picky eaters. will arrive shortly. Seems like some orders uh arrive. So, I just um ordered the eel, but I was actually waiting on a uh I think it’s like chicken and cheese one that I ordered quite a while ago. So, some seem to be ready made perhaps some others. Oh, here we go. Se cheese and chicken steak. So, since I liked the last one, which should have some sauce on it. Oops. Um, I decided to just try my meal. I think I just like the sauce. Very fishy. So this was a chicken and cheese. Somehow tastes like McDonald’s. So this is the seared pork with cheese. Okay. Tastes like McDonald’s. It’s actually a hamburger. Hamburger steak. Freshwater eel liver. It’s my last adventurous one. Tastes okay. Like a bit fishy, but it’s very chewy. Yeah, would not recommend. So, for the 10th and final dish, I’ve gone back to the Iberian pork. Fatty black Iberian for 150 yen. Got to end with something that you actually like. Okay. Moment of truth. fast again. Stop. Okay. Well, that’s it. I don’t think I’m going to get dessert because I hope you enjoyed this looking for a sushi. And uh what are we going on now? See? Uh, it’s almost 5:30 and I know that Tashita Street closes at 6. So, we’re going to head over there. Uh, I’m on my way to Takashita Street and this area has changed so much. I was here about 7 and 1 half years ago and I don’t think there’s any of these like malls and stuff. I’m sure that you could just leave um, Maji Shrine and walk straight to Takashita Street, but now there’s like a giant mall on the way. So, oh, it looks like it’s about to rain, which is a bit annoying. See there, the sky is a little bit gray. I think it closes in like half an hour anyway. So, you won’t be there too long. Okay. Love that nuts. That’s cost me almost 3,000 yen. 35 New Zealand dollars, baby. That’s a That’s a lot of candy. You know, this um street is not like it used to be. It’s just become another tourist street with the same old shops. Really, just junk. Like, it used to have uh young women dressed up. I mean, like just everyone was dressed up when they came down the street and it used to be lots of costume uh you know, cute cutesy stuff, but now it’s just I don’t know. It feels like a shadow of what it used to be. I think it’s just another thing that’s been ruined by tourism. Even though before it was pretty touristy, there’s even a McDonald’s here. I just got back from a full day of exploring Tokyo and I always try to get these if they’re available. I saw uh Sarahan, a YouTuber, talk about them and they are so delicious. They’re a watermelon popsicle with uh little chocolate seeds and I’m not sure what the little green bit is at the bottom. I think it’s like melon or something like that. But these are so good. I wish we had them in New Zealand. So if you like gadget, come to Yashi because it’s way calmer here than the birds in the tourist series. I don’t think I need my life. Fore! Foreign! Foreign! Foreign speech. Foreign speech. Does she know you know your knee? Great. I don’t like it. I guess so. should be definitely had some nice station. It’s so nice and clean now. Uh should we use now? Those are the toilets. Pretty fresh. Like everyone’s got their phones out. I’m now going to try and get a seat at Starbucks, but it looks pretty busy out there, so we’ll see. Something else. What you got? Let’s go. Yeah. Yeah. What does he get? Good morning. Sorry. Sorry.
