Yokohama Travel Vlog | Chinatown Eats & Shopping Spree πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅πŸ›οΈπŸœ

[Music] Do you know you have 30 minutes? [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Hello, Yokohama. It is so busy out here in our hotel. It’s right up there and the Shinkansen is right underneath it. It’s so conveniently located. I really snap with these hotel bookings this trip. [Music] Okay, this is take two. I just realized in the first recording of this, my whole head was cut off. I’m like scratching down. Oh god. Future right here. Um I’m noticing now uh after editing this vlog that I forgot to record a huge chunk of day. I don’t know what the hell happened. Either like I was just kind of like I’m living in the moment or I recorded it and I don’t know where they are. So they’re lost in my mind. Uh, so I figured I’d give you guys a quick recap of what actually happened the day I forgot to record. Um, so pretty much, um, Bonnie and I end up getting breakfast at the Royal Host Buffet, which has a partnership with the hotel that we were staying in. Um, side note, the hotel is so conveniently located literally like it’s within the Shin the Shin Yokohama station and the Shin Kansen goes right underneath which is like the train station, right? And then above that there’s a whole bunch of like floors with like shopping. There’s like a mall and there’s a whole bunch of restaurants. Our hotel is attached or not even attached. It’s within the train station, but it’s like you have to get to like the third or fifth, fourth floors and then go up a few floors and then it’s like from I think like the 10th floor or something all the way up to like the 18th or 20th floor. I forget how how many floors are in this building, but this station is massive. So, it was just like So, I’m sorry I keep doing this. My cat hair is floating everywhere on my face. So, uh, the station is massive. So, like literally you can spend an entire day in there and there’s mad stuff to do. Um, we ended up shopping like at a goo a uniqlo and a um three coin shop where I got like a whole bunch of cute stuff. Um, like housewear dishes, that sort of thing. And there was like stationary shops in there which we shopped in because we me and Vana both love like pens. I don’t know if this is weird or not, but I have so many pens. I’m never gonna use them all, but um so anyways, um the day I forgot to record things, we grabbed breakfast, which is why I just went off to pendant. And then um we ended up deciding, oh, let’s wash our clothes so we don’t have to do it um tomorrow, which would have been the last day that we were in Oklahoma because we were obviously flying back home to New York. Um, and we washed the clothes and it was like 20 35 minutes. Um, so it I felt like I knew this going in. I definitely knew this going in, but I I didn’t expect it to be so bad. Um, the washer units that they provide at the hotel, they were like the combo ones, the washer dry combos. And people are not lying when they say it takes forever to dry your clothes because why was washing no more than 35 minutes and then the drying was 90 minutes, right? So after the first drying session, first of 90 minutes, the clothes were still soaking wet. They were still soaking wet. So we ended up drying the clothes again on another 90-minute cycle. Still wet. came back again, pulled them out of those washers, put them in different dryers, excuse me, and ran them again on the same cycle, still damp. So, we literally had to run them four times uh in different machines for them to fully dry. So, I would not would not do that part again. And the crazy part is like we literally didn’t have that many clothes. And plus, like you couldn’t jam a lot of stuff in there anyway cuz they were small washer machines and stuff. So, I probably had like two pairs of tights, two shirts. I know for a fact it was like only two shirts, a very thin pair of sweatpants, and a bunch of like panties and sport bras and some tops. Like y’all, that was like four or five hours of just drying. So like while the clothes were running through their random cycle, her and I were running out to the stores in the um station because we had time to kill. And um we had initially planned that day to go just go to Chinatown or whatever and spend the day there and then do some sightseeing around that area, but that obviously didn’t go according to plan because of the drying situation. I mean, in hindsight, we probably could have waited to wash clothes until we got back home, but we’re both like I don’t want to bring dirty clothes back home kind of people. So, um yeah, took the L on that one. Took the L. It ate up a whole chunk of the day. So, when we finally end up leaving, we went we did go to Chinatown, but we weren’t there as long as we wanted to. And we had like I want to say we had an early flight. Maybe it was the afternoon. I’m bugging. I think it was like afternoon flight, like 4:00 or something, but um we wanted to do like some quick sightseeing around the area and get packed up for the day and stuff like that. So, we just didn’t have enough time. Um so, yeah, a lot of things happened that day. Um, I just didn’t record it. Probably cuz I was lowkey irritated with that stupid dryer situation. Obviously, that was self-inflicted cuz I could have literally waited. But in my mind at the time, I’m like, “No, I just want to get it over with.” All right, guys. Back to the video. Let me tell you what Vana did to me, guys. Go ahead. So, I forgot. Keep your hands to yourself and keep walking. So, I forgot the container to hold my liners. She gives me a wet wipe, y’all. And I didn’t pick anything up, y’all. So, the wet wipe was one of those sand hand sanitizing ones, and I didn’t even notice it, right? I didn’t even notice it. And I put my liners in there, y’all. Right. And I just got back to We just got back to Hotel, brushed my teeth, and put it back in. Literally, all I could taste is the hand sanitizer. And she’s like, “I offered you a piece of tissue.” Girl, you literally only gave me a wet wipe. You did not have tissue. [Music] Currently in Chinatown. This is so trippy. [Music] Y’all, she don’t want to be in the videos anymore. But y’all, this is so dope. We’re in Chinatown. We’re still in Yokohama, but it’s like so busy, but so cool at the same time. I’m enjoying this. [Music] Toast just missed our bus by like seconds to the airport. So, we have to wait another 39 minutes for the next one. [Music] Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music]
