【4K】Kyogatake Castle (Niigata) / 京ヶ岳城 (新潟)

Walk-through movie of Kyogatake castle that is a Japanese castle in Niigata pref. Located at small peak of ridge between Kushiike-gawa river and Bessho-gawa river, it stands at next of Lake Bogaike that is an artificial pond for agriculture. Precise history of castle is unknown, but it faced an medieval mountain road that crossed Sekita-toge Pass and connected Echigo and Shinano province in the shortest distance then worked as front side fort of Kasugayama castle. Scenery of round shaped lake seen from castle site is beautiful.
