An information session will be held regarding the recruitment of volunteer staff for “NoMaps2025,” which will be held from September 10th to 14th this year!
This time, we will mainly talk about the NoMaps categories of EDU, SOCIAL, GOVERNMENT, and U-35, as well as the overall management, and there will be an explanation and networking session from NoMaps and the people in charge of each category.
What is NoMaps?
NoMaps is a multifaceted urban innovation festival held in Sapporo, Hokkaido, that spans art, technology, society, and community. In 2025, a diverse range of artists, creators, social entrepreneurs, and local leaders from Japan and abroad will gather to create new value and connections through lectures, performances, exhibitions, workshops, and more.

◆What do volunteer staff do?
(Public Relations) Provide information to participants and those who are not yet familiar with NoMaps!
NoMaps is an event that has a total of over 70,000 participants (as of 2024), but we are still not able to fully reach the people we want to reach. We would like you to mainly disseminate information to participants up until the event, and then share what the participants are up to during the event.
(On-site operation) Support communication with participants on the day and on-site operation!
During NoMaps, people from various fields will interact through sessions, meetups, etc. In order to further accelerate and deepen these interactions, you will be responsible for managing the venue and communicating with participants.

NoMaps is a festival that holds multiple events simultaneously throughout the city on a variety of themes. We invite many people, including creative creators, skilled engineers, and entrepreneurs striving for innovation, to hold events throughout Sapporo. NoMaps offers the following to students who participate as staff:
1. Meetings and contacts with creators, engineers, entrepreneurs, and others in Sapporo, Hokkaido, including participants, speakers, and organizers of NoMaps
2. Knowledge of event planning and hosting through involvement in NoMaps event planning
3. Experience the latest ideas and information in Sapporo, Hokkaido
NoMaps is open to all ages and genders. We look forward to working with you to create a place where you can connect with guests from not only Sapporo, Hokkaido, but also from all over Japan and even overseas, and put your creative ideas into practice!
