🚶‍♂️‍➡️The summer night sky wrapped around Shibuya Center-gai in an electrifying energy, neon lights painting the darkness with vivid hues.

Escaping the buzz woven by smiling, diverse crowds of young people, I stepped into the entrance of Miyashita Park and was greeted by dappled shadows and a cool breeze. The dynamic skate park and the tranquil lawns offered a striking contrast that felt like entering another world.

The narrow alley leading to Shibuya Hyakkendana glowed with the soft lights of Showa-era izakayas and secondhand bookstores, and the unpretentious laughter and music of locals resonated deep in my chest.

At the Shibuya Sakura Stage, the rhythm of a live music event blended with cherry-blossom–inspired illuminations that shimmered in the night air, and applause intertwined to carry a sense of promise for the future.

From the pedestrian overpass, the countless lights of the intersection spread out like a painted scroll, and in moments when street performers broke into impromptu dance, my heart soared. That one-hour walk became a precious experience of Shibuya’s many layers and free spirit, forever etched into my summer-night memories.
