Tokyo DisneySea + Teppanyaki Dinner｜東京迪士尼海洋＋鐵板燒晚餐 | Taiwan and Japan Vlog EP4
Today, we’re spending the day at Tokyo DisneySea — wandering around, enjoying the rides, and soaking in the magical atmosphere. Right at the entrance, the park is filled with decorations celebrating the 20th anniversary of Duffy and Friends. Among all six Disney resorts around the world, Tokyo DisneySea is the only one built entirely around the spirit of ocean adventure. First ride of the day — the retro-style Electric Railway. We waited in line for about 30 minutes. I wanted to grab the Toy Story Mania! fast pass early… but the screen just kept loading. It runs between American Waterfront and Port Discovery — a slow nostalgic ride above the park. Got off at Port Discovery and went straight to Nemo & Friends SeaRider. You can use a free Priority Pass here, but we queued for about 30 minutes instead. There’s a pre-show video while you wait. Finally inside～ You shrink down into a tiny sub and drift through the ocean — bumping, dodging, and swimming with friends. So much fun! I absolutely loved this one 🥰 Next up — Aquatopia. Spoiler alert: you will get soaked. Like, completely. But hey — in this heat, we dried off in no time. This is where I got completely soaked from head to toe. Lost count of how many bottles of water we’ve bought so far. Can’t believe it’s already been 20 years. Time flies 😅 Tower of Terror There’s an elevator drop. A real one. Yeah, no thanks. This ride has a 60-minute wait… kinda long 😅 I went for something more my style — Toy Story Mania! You put on 3D glasses, hop on a spinning tram, and enter a wild carnival of mini games. Five games in one ride — throw eggs, pop balloons, hit plates, toss rings, and shoot at targets. Raging Spirits — the fire-themed coaster. Nope, still too scary for me. Then it was time for Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure. These story-driven rides are totally my favorite — nothing too intense, just an easy way to get into the adventure. Things look blurry now because it’s a 3D ride — you’ll need glasses. This one’s a solid recommendation from me. Another bottle of water… I’ve lost count. It was really hot today, but thankfully it was cloudy. Finally, lunch! This spot was actually pretty good. After lunch, we rode Soaring — one of the best in the park! You fly over world landmarks with wind in your face and scent in the air. It’s beautiful, immersive, unforgettable. It’s a bit of a shame that once the flying part begins, filming isn’t allowed. Then came Frozen Journey. You float through Arendelle, reliving the story — and yes, “Let It Go” hits different in person. ❤️❤️❤️ Next — Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival. Yup… another boat ride 😂 From the tower into the woods, and then — the lantern. This scene felt like the most magical part of the entire Rapunzel ride. 😍😍😍😍😍 Next thing you know, we were already on Sindbad’s Storybook Voyage. Since there was no line at all, we just walked right in. Was it fun? Well… there was literally no line at all. I’ll let you guess 🤣 If you just want to chill, enjoy the AC, and take a relaxing boat ride — this one’s not bad at all. We played all the way till sunset. Legs officially gave out. We also took a quick look around the shops inside the park. My legs couldn’t even move anymore… but honestly, today was so much fun! Too tired to search for food — so we ended the day with a meal downstairs. This restaurant is called Fukitei, located on the first floor of Hyatt Regency Tokyo Bay. We went with the “Aoi” course set. The appetizer changes with the seasons — could be Japanese pickles, chilled seafood, or simmered dishes. Next came a shrimp trio — deep-fried shrimp head, pan-seared shrimp, and shrimp in a sweet chili glaze. 😋😋😋 Seasonal salad For the main course, we had premium wagyu steak grilled right in front of us, served with seasonal vegetables. The aroma as the chef seared the steak on the teppan was absolutely mouthwatering. 😋😋😋😋 Teppan-fried rice The dessert was so pretty — a sweet ending to the night.
