On August 18, 2025, Acecook will release two types of cup noodles themed around Hokkaido and Okinawa. The ‘ Super Cup 1.5x Hokkaido Corn Salt Butter Ramen ‘ is a ramen with the fragrant flavor of Hokkaido corn and butter, while the ‘ Super Cup 1.5x Okinawa Island Soba ‘ is a pork bone-based ‘island soba’ with a fragrant bonito broth. Acecook provided us with these noodles early, so we tried them out for ourselves.

On the left is ‘Hokkaido Corn Salt Butter Ramen’ and on the right is ‘Okinawa Island Soba.’ First, let’s try Hokkaido.
Ingredients include processed butter, curry powder, corn, etc.
Calories are 461kcal per serving.
When I opened the lid, there was powdered soup and seasoning oil inside.
First, add the powdered soup.
Close the lid, add seasoning oil on top of the lid and let it sit for 3 minutes.
After 3 minutes, add the seasoning oil.
Mix well and it’s done.
I was overwhelmed by the strong aroma of butter before I even started tasting it. The pork bone-based salt soup is characterized by its mellow taste without being too salty. The butter flavor is weak, but the aroma is strong, spreading throughout the mouth and adding depth to the richness and mellowness of the soup. The corn used as a topping was a little weak, so I wish it had been more prominent.
Next, I will try ‘Okinawa Island Soba.’ The ingredients include bonito flakes powder, powdered soy sauce, and seafood seasoning.
Calories are 459kcal per serving.
The contents are powdered soup and seasoning oil.
Add the powdered soup as before.
Unlike before, I waited 5 minutes.
After 5 minutes, add the seasoning oil and mix well.
This Okinawa soba has a strong, clear flavor thanks to the bonito broth, and you can fully enjoy the umami of the pork bones and the flavor of the broth. The curly, flat noodles absorb the soup, making it flavorful and easy to eat. The pork used as a topping is a little on the subtle side, but other than that, it’s a satisfying dish.
The suggested retail price for ‘Super Cup 1.5x Hokkaido Corn Salt Butter Ramen / Okinawa Island Soba’ is 240 yen (excluding tax) and is scheduled to be sold nationwide from August 18, 2025.
