Rekindling interest in audit work among younger generations is a top priority for the new head of Japan’s professional body for CPAs.

“I would like to make our industry more attractive for young people,” Naruhito Minami, the Japanese Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ new chairman and president, told Bloomberg Tax in an interview about his plans for the organization, the challenges ahead, and the industry’s future.
