To the east of Zenoji Temple, just over this bridge is Daikanjin Temple is a beautiful row of temples established to teach the preaching of Buddhism. Its mission is to help Buddhists navigate their life journey. And I didn’t see that no camera sign until it was too late. Sorry. To the west of Kenoji Temple is Keni Temple. This is a temple of the Jodo sect of Buddhism. How Buddhist sects differ, I don’t know. I guess you can go down the rabbit hole of religious and philosophical debate, but at the end you’ll always find the same thing. Really good people with different thoughts and cool Zen gardens. This was a fasting day for me, so it was really hard walking down this street. Luckily, I got a date with some monkeys. I came here to see the famous Japanese Macak snow monkeys, but no one has seen them in four or five days, I Unless they’re on strike.
