MUST HAVE in Tokyo Japan! πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅

Hey geeks. So if you are planning on coming to Tokyo, Japan and you never been here before, there is one thing that you must have and this is something I learned really quickly and that is quite simply this right here. This is a card or you could also get a Pasmo card. And the reason why I say that is well the train systems here in Japan are probably the best in the world. They can get you practically anywhere and they are a must-have travel option, especially if you are on a budget because it gets really expensive to get around with taxis and stuff. And the thing is, if you’re having to carry around a lot of change, a lot of coins, and you have a lot of connecting trains, which you will as you are traveling around Tokyo, it could be an absolute huge pain and sometimes a nightmare uh to kind of get around. And the only thing is at the time of this video, these SWEA cards and Pasmo cards, there has been a chip shortage. So, it’s really hard to get these. Before you could just go to any station or a lot of stations just get the card. Nowadays, it depends on which station it is. Try to go to a bigger station and if you do see one of these machines that actually sell a Suo card, get it. Um, I got one that actually has my name on it and uh they ran out of blank ones at the time of this video. And this is going to be such a huge thing. Not only is it a timesaver, but it’s also super convenient to get in and out of stations, but you could also use this at some stores, some 7-Elevens as well. So, if you are going to be here in Tokyo, Japan, and hopefully there’s not a shortage still, look to get a squeaker card or a Pasma card. I prefer the speaker cards, and I think a lot of people use that. or if you actually have an iPhone, they do have a sua app. And so for people who have iPhones, this not might not be a big issue. But at least for me, if you can get this card, this is a mustave if you are visiting Tokyo.

  1. suica card is such a time saver. i think they have improved system integration and they can be used throughout most of the country. in addition to that if you'll be staying in the tokyo area you can buy a day pass which gives unlimited use of the local trains for the business day. which can save a lot of money depending on your usage. if you load enough money on your card you can use it for the bullet train as well.
