This EP is the follow up vlog of our Road Trip from Takayma to Fujikawaguchiko The Journey took around 4 hours + and we are finally close to reaching our destination it will be a one night stay before we drive back to Osaka we’ll be staying at a peaceful cottage with a beautiful view of Mount Fuji It was less than 10°C when we started from Gifu in the morning and we’re experiencing ‘summer’ heat of 26°C at Fujikawaguchiko now 😂 Really awesome view of Mt. Fuji as we approach the city Did you have similar experience of awe where you saw Mt. Fuji while driving into the city? Fuji view is super expensive during Sakura season Not to mention the Ryokans around Lake Kawaguchiko are reserved quickly Wait for the grand reveal… Lovely isn’t it? we were happy to have finally decided on this place Full amenities including Netflix Toliet is on the Left of this corridor It is more than enough for a couple and can probably fit a small family Bedroom floor is covered with tatami mats 👍 Next up is the washroom with seperate shower room with bathtub in it The terrace outside is one of the best part about this accommodation The house is located in a residential area so it is very quiet and peaceful It is more ideal to stay here if you’re driving as it will be a lot more convenient Perfect place to sip coffee and enjoy this MAJESTIC view Shabu-Shabu Hayashi
6816-1 Funatsu, Fujikawaguchiko, Minamitsuru District, Yamanashi 401-0301, Japan This restaurant was recommended by ChatGPT 😂 We wanted to eat at a Shabu place that is a short drive from our stay Only counter seats were available but that was perfect for us This is one of the appetizer where they give a type of seasoning to eat with the bell pepper there is something magical about the seasoning that makes the taste superb here’s a close up look 🔎 They also provide 3 types of Shabu source to go with your meat Ponzu sause, Dashi Soya Sauce and a Sesame sauce they provide instructions in English on how to mix them busy preparing two sets of sauces 😅 they are a strong advocator of “using the right source is everything for a good Shabu experience” The restuarant will require you to order a set meal The set meal comes with two appetizers, rice and ice cream We ordered the Miyazaki Beef and Fujigane Pork set meal Most of the Ryokans share that their meals ingredients are locally produced so we wanted to try it since we are not staying in a ryokan we enjoyed the Miyazaki Beef so much we ordered an extra portion🤭 overall we enjoyed our meal at the restuarant 👍 enjoying the view of Fuji-san one last time before we drive back to Osaka It will a 5-6 hours drive back to Osaka from Fujikawaguchiko one last look at the MAJESTIC Mt Fuji such a perfect location to build the expressway entry Thanks for watching so far into the video 🙇🏻‍♀️🙇🏻‍♂️ Please stay on to catch the preview of our next video in Kyoto Don’t forget to Like and Subscribe if you want to enjoy more travel stories from us 🔔 We would love to hear your travel experience as well! 👇 last bits of scenary from the drive back to Osaka quick lunch break and shopping at Kakegawa Rest Stop
