Yeah they’re not going to go up… the age of gasoline is close to over… not tomorrow but pretty soon cars that have fully dedicated petrol or diesel engines will not be allowed to be used as private vehicles they will no longer be compliant.

It will be a good while before freight changes over to something else… but for private vehicles hydrogen and electric are going to be the future.

So it’s only a matter of time before the only place an r34 is welcome is on a track having been transported there on a trailer… so the writing is on the wall they’re no longer a good investment

No clue, not my usual scene, but I’d imagine they’re probably close to as low as they’ll get, with a chance that they may go back up (context is always important re price though, as in quality of the car that’s for sale). The COVID pricing has sort of normalised now though.

For a hero car that had (has?) its poster in many bedrooms, and is no longer in production, good quality examples will still fetch a premium, and if not to be driven to be stored away in a collectors storage somewhere.

The best time to buy any of the hero JDM cars was always yesterday, and the next best time is when you can. If you can comfortable afford the hero car of your dreams and a good example comes up and you’re prepared for it, should just buy it imo.

Prices should of never went past $150K. You can blame YouTubers and rich morons for paying way over value since they were using the cars for flips or social media clicks. Importers really are capping on the prices as well because they know most people who are willing to spend the money dont know any better. Its nothing more than a gaijin tax! People love to say “supply and demand” but there’s plenty of supply for the demand without charging over $150K for a car that initially cost of $45-55K. Its literally robbery, or “wealth distribution” for the whiny rich folks who are disillusioned to their own nonsense.

I believe prices will plateau over the next year or two. I don’t think they will plummet to 50k usd or anything though.

  6. Prices will go up. More people have access to buy, supply of good quality cars is going town.
