Exploring Kagoshima: Japan’s Most Beautiful Destinations and Breathtaking Views

In this video, I’ll not only show you the beautiful sightseeing spots in Kagoshima but also share my experience of taking the ferry from Osaka to Kagoshima. I wasn’t feeling well during the trip, but you’ll see through this video whether my condition improved along the way. I would be thrilled if you enjoy the drone footage I captured for this video. The video is in Japanese, so please use subtitles to follow along. Hello everyone, This is Yuu from Yuu’s adventures. Today, I’m heading to Kagoshima. Right now, I’m on my way to Osaka from Kamakura. Once I get to Osaka, I’ll take a ferry to Kagoshima. I’m currently on the Shinkansen, so I’m planning to eat an ekiben (train station bento). This is an ekiben (train station bento box). Ekiben is really delicious, so I’m looking forward to eating it. Actually, I’ve caught a terrible cold and I’m really not feeling well. But since it’s for work, I’m heading to Kagoshima. I’ll be staying in Kagoshima for quite a while, so I hope my cold doesn’t get worse. It looks so delicious!! Don’t you think it looks amazing? This is an ekiben. It’s a bento box eaten on Japanese bullet trains. I’ll eat it This is shellfish. Mmm, it’s delicious. And this is an egg. Japanese bento boxes really are so tasty, aren’t they? Bento boxes overseas are also good, but I think Japan has the best food and bento in the world. Alright, I’ll film again once I arrive in Osaka. I’ve arrived in Osaka. I slept the whole way on the bullet train to Osaka. I wasn’t feeling well, so I ended up sleeping a lot. I think I slept for about two hours. Now I’m about to board the ferry that will take me to Kagoshima. You can see the ferry over there. I think that’s the ferry I’ll be taking to Kagoshima. Tonight, I’ll be sleeping in a cabin on the ferry. I’m scheduled to arrive in Kagoshima tomorrow morning. So, I’ll board the ferry now! I’m on the ferry now, having dinner. With arriving in Osaka and boarding the ferry, I’ve skipped over a lot of the story. So, I think this video is progressing at a pretty fast pace. Anyway, for now, I’m going to have some food on the ferry. It’s a buffet, so you can eat as much as you like of various dishes. Can you see? It looks like this. There’s a lot of food like this available. Also, I haven’t had curry in a while, and since there’s curry here, I think I’ll have some curry. And here’s some sashimi. I’m going to have some sashimi now. Alright, let’s dig in. I haven’t been eating proper meals lately, so I’m really happy about this. Here’s a potato. It’s delicious. This is bamboo shoot. Japanese food is really delicious, so if you visit Japan, make sure to enjoy plenty of Japanese food! It doesn’t have to be just Japanese food. For example, curry, Italian, French, or even your own country’s cuisine is fine. I just think it’s really great to experience the difference in taste from your own country’s food. I hope you get to try it and see for yourself. Since I’m not feeling well and I keep coughing, I’ll finish my meal and stop filming for now. Good morning. After having dinner yesterday, I wasn’t feeling well, so I took a bath and went straight to bed. Whenever I travel to different places like this, I often fall asleep pretty quickly. When I’m tired or not feeling well, I tend to fall asleep quickly. Honestly, I still don’t feel very well this morning. Last night, I was really cold—my body felt so chilly. It was this back-and-forth feeling of being hot and cold. My body was burning up, but at the same time, I was freezing and shaking a lot. I felt so unwell that I went straight to sleep. Right now, I’m on the ferry heading to Kagoshima, so I’m out at sea. I just realized I forgot to attach my microphone. Even without the mic, I think it’s still picking up the audio, but the sound quality is definitely better with a microphone. I’m going to have breakfast now, and I think we’ll arrive in Kagoshima at around 8:00 a.m. By the way, it’s about 6:45 a.m. right now. I took a bath, so my hair is still wet. There’s something like a public bath, similar to a sento, inside the ferry. So, I used the sento last night and again this morning. Taking a bath really helps you wake up and feel refreshed. For those who watched my “Daikon no Hana” video, you probably know this, but I really love hot springs. So whenever I find a bath or hot spring, I always feel like I have to try it. I hope people from other countries will also try out these sento or onsen experiences. Anyway, it’s almost time for breakfast, so I’ll head out to eat now. I’m also thinking of showing you around the ferry a little. This is what the interior looks like. It’s very beautiful, isn’t it? Somehow, being on a ship always reminds me of Titanic. While I was on the ship, I kept wondering if it might sink or something like that. Is it starting to clear up a bit? Looks like it’s going to be cloudy today. I wanted to film outside, so cloudy weather kind of brings my mood down. I hope it clears up. Yesterday, I found some crew uniforms here, so I tried one on. Here it is. Looks pretty cool. Alright, I’m heading off to have breakfast now. I wonder what’s for breakfast. I’m really looking forward to it. I’m super hungry right now. Breakfast is a buffet. There’s quite a variety of food. There are sausages, eggs, and lots of other options. And over here, there’s a salad section. It looks like there’s also rice and miso soup over there. There’s so much food available, and I’m really excited to eat. Alright, I’m going to have breakfast now. I grabbed some bread. And also some sausages and miso soup. It’s delicious. For Japanese people, it’s all about miso soup and rice. I also got lots of fruit. I think it might be boring to just watch me eat breakfast, so once I get off the ferry, I’ll show you around Kagoshima! I’ve just gotten off the ferry and safely arrived in Kagoshima. Now, I’m visiting various waterfalls and checking out some sightseeing spots in Kagoshima. I’m not feeling well. But I have to do some drone filming, so I’m planning to capture some footage with the drone. I’m really looking forward to capturing footage with my new drone this time. I truly realize how much I love drones. Drones, camera equipment—I really love them all. But it feels like there’s no end to it. New gear keeps coming out one after another, and I feel like I need more and more things. It really seems like there’s no finish line. I’m heading to a waterfall now, so I’ll show you what it looks like once I get there. Right now, I’m walking on a path like this. It’s overflowing with nature here. There’s no one around. It feels like I’m in the world of *Princess Mononoke* or something. I’m not feeling well, and my voice sounds off, so you might have trouble hearing me. I’m sorry about that. I can see an impressive bridge ahead. It’s amazing. I’m not sure if I’m on the right path. I’m starting to worry if this is the right way. This river is absolutely beautiful. It’s an emerald green kind of color. It seems like there’s a waterfall about 600 meters further ahead. I’ve already walked quite a lot. I think I’ve been walking for about 20 minutes. But I still can’t see the waterfall at all. Finally, I can see the river. Just a little further. I’ve finally arrived at the waterfall. It’s absolutely beautiful. Wow, it’s really stunning. Amazing. This might be the most beautiful waterfall I’ve ever visited. Isn’t it just so gorgeous? There are so many beautiful places in Kagoshima, so I’d love to visit more spots like this. It’s incredibly beautiful. This is a place called Sugawara Shrine. It’s a very popular spot on Instagram, yet there wasn’t anyone around when I visited. The wind was so strong here that I couldn’t record any audio at all. It’s such a mystical and beautiful place. If I have another chance, I’d love to come back when it’s not windy. If you visit Kagoshima, I highly recommend stopping by this spot! I’ve rented a car again this time. Lately, I’ve been relying on rental cars a lot. I’m going to use the restroom. Don’t watch—I’m heading to the restroom! I’m back in the car now. My stomach hurt, and I think I stayed in the restroom for about 20 minutes. I was in there for quite a while. Now, I’m drinking Pocari Sweat. For those overseas, have you ever tried Pocari Sweat? When I catch a cold or don’t feel well, I often drink Pocari Sweat. I’ve loved it since I was a kid. Back when I played baseball, a lot of my friends would drink Pocari Sweat, but I usually brought tea made from powder at home. I always envied my friends who got to drink Pocari Sweat. Now that I’m an adult and can drink Pocari Sweat, I feel really happy. It’s super cold right now. I’m heading to the hotel now. I’ve arrived at Sakurajima Hotel. Right next to my room is the ocean. So, I can enjoy an incredible view. I was able to check in a bit early, so I think it’s about 2:00 p.m. now. Dinner is at 6:00 p.m., so I’m planning to take a dip in the onsen before then. I got special permission to film in the onsen, so I’d like to show it to you all. Lately, I’ve been going to a lot of onsens. But I think onsens are great for relieving travel fatigue, exhaustion, or even helping with illnesses, so I’m going to enjoy it. Alright, let me show you the onsen right away. Right now, I have the onsen all to myself, so I don’t think anyone else will be using the men’s bath while I’m here. Here it is. This is the changing room. And here is the onsen. Normally, you can’t film with a camera here, so those of you watching this video are very lucky. It’s really rare to get permission to film, so I think it’s uncommon to see a video like this. Before I enter the onsen, I want to show you what it looks like inside. Here it is. This is the onsen. There are stairs here, so I’ll carefully make my way down. In the space at the back, you wash your body first, and then you can enter this onsen. It also seems like there’s an outdoor open-air bath. I’ll definitely check out the open-air bath as well. The view is absolutely stunning. This is amazing. The *Daikon no Hana* onsen I introduced before was surrounded by a forest, but this one is located right in front of the ocean. It’s incredibly beautiful. Once you get into this onsen, it feels like it’d be hard to leave. Isn’t this onsen amazing? Onsens really are wonderful. The view is breathtaking. That said, onsens are often popular with older people, so maybe my heart is already getting old too. Look at this view—it’s spectacular. Alright, I’m going to get into the onsen now. First, I’ll head back over here. This onsen here is also incredibly beautiful. It has a very traditional and charming atmosphere. I think the area further over there is the women’s onsen. So, if you were to climb onto this rock and peek into the women’s onsen, you’d probably get arrested. So, be careful! You wash your body over here, and then you get into the onsen here. And there’s even an outdoor bath! That’s amazing. You take the buckets here and carry them over like this. And this one as well. You wash your body here before entering the onsen. Alright, I’m going to take off my clothes to get into the onsen, so please don’t look! My body is really skinny, so it’s not exactly something I can proudly show to everyone. If I had more muscles or a really attractive body, maybe I could show it to everyone. But since I’m not that impressive, I can’t show my body to everyone. I’m really not feeling well. I need to get better soon; it’s pretty urgent. The reason is that I’m planning to meet my niece in about 3 or 4 days. I’m really looking forward to that, so I want to recover quickly. I don’t want to pass my cold to my niece. She lives far away right now, so we don’t live close enough to meet easily. That’s why I can only see her a few times a year, and sometimes not even once a year, depending on the situation. I want to cherish the opportunity to see my niece. Alright, I’m going into the onsen now. I’ve entered this onsen first. It feels amazing, and there’s a lot of sand-like particles sticking to me. Sakurajima is an active volcano, so it seems volcanic ash often accumulates on cars by morning. I’ve heard that people living near Sakurajima often have a hard time maintaining their cars because of this. By the way, I don’t think you can see my body in this shot, so I can record this video without any worries. Honestly, I wish I had a body I could be more confident about. Actually, I’ve been doing a bit of training recently. You might wonder how I’ve been training. I’m not going to a gym or anything like that. I’ve been doing it at home while editing videos, and actually, I’ve been studying something new lately. While taking online courses for my studies, I’ve been training as I watch the lectures. I think I’ve built up some muscle in my shoulders, but my body doesn’t look very bulky, so I feel like I still need to train more. When I went to the U.S. and Canada, I noticed a lot of people had really well-built bodies, and I remember feeling quite envious. I wonder how everyone trains. Do they go to the gym? Or do they do bodyweight training? I’m really curious. I usually use 45°C water for baths or showers, so when it’s around 43°C or 42°C, it feels a bit lukewarm to me. I think this onsen is probably around 42°C, so it feels a little lukewarm for me. I wish the water was a bit hotter—it would be perfect for me. I was just wondering why I caught a cold. Lately, I haven’t been eating very healthy foods. Especially after I got back from the U.S., my eating habits have gotten really bad. I used to cook proper meals and eat them, but recently, I’ve been eating mostly instant food. Maybe I wasn’t getting enough nutrients. I don’t really like eating meals alone. I’ve been that way since I was a kid. My mother has always been really good at cooking. She used to be a bread and cake instructor. Now, she works at an Italian restaurant making pizza, cakes, and bread, but in any case, she’s an amazing cook. Back when my parents were still together, before they divorced, we always ate meals as a family, and I really loved those times when the whole family would gather to eat. But after my parents divorced, the opportunities to eat meals as a family gradually disappeared. Since my mom was busy with work, there was always just a packed meal left at home, and that’s the kind of food I would eat. That’s why I’ve never really liked eating meals alone. So maybe that’s why I haven’t been eating much recently. Also, eating has always been a low priority for me. If I’m studying, then studying becomes my top priority, and eating always gets pushed to second or third on my list of priorities. They say that if you don’t prioritize things like meals and sleep, your efficiency and productivity in work and studies won’t improve. So, I really should make sure to eat properly. I’d love to go on a journey where I can visit various onsen inns. I think there are still so many amazing onsens that aren’t well-known yet. I hope I can introduce those kinds of onsens to everyone. I think it’s not often that people get the chance to visit onsens, so I’d like to share those places with you. It would make me really happy if you enjoyed the onsen videos. This video isn’t specifically about onsens, but whenever I find an onsen during my travels, I always take the opportunity to go in. So, I’d be happy if I could share the onsens I visit with you through my travel blogs and videos. Don’t worry about my coughing. I’m really not feeling well. Once I start coughing, I can’t seem to stop, and coughing too much makes me feel like I’m going to throw up. Anyway, the onsen felt amazing. Now that I’m done with the onsen, I think I’ll have dinner next. There’s still a little time before dinner, so I think I’ll rest for a bit inside the hotel. Since I’m not feeling well, I want to take the chance to rest whenever I can. Winter is the season for things like the flu and the common cold, and because it’s a dry season, it’s easier to catch various viruses. So, please make sure to take care of your health. Lately, it’s been really easy to get sick, so take good care of yourselves. Alright, I’ll head back to my room now. But before that, since I’m here, I’ll show you a little bit of the interior of this hotel. This is the hallway where the rooms are located on each floor. It feels quite elegant. And over here is the restroom. One of the joys of traveling to rural areas in Japan is being able to enjoy the fresh, local cuisine of each area. For example, seafood is incredibly delicious in places near the sea, and there are also vegetables that can only be found in certain regions. I think that’s one of the great things about traveling to the countryside—you get to enjoy those unique local flavors. Visiting places like Tokyo or Osaka is great, but I highly recommend checking out the countryside as well. There are so many fun places to explore. This hotel faces the ocean, so the view is incredible. The sofas here are also very elegant. Isn’t it amazing? It’s absolutely stunning. And here is the ocean. The view is just fantastic. There’s also a piano here. I’m tired. I feel really exhausted. Maybe it’s because I relaxed in the onsen, but I’m not feeling well, and I think I have a fever right now. That’s probably why my head feels foggy, and I can’t think about anything. But it’s okay. I’ll get better soon. I’ll do my best to introduce more places to you all. To be honest, I’ve caught a really bad cold. Actually, I’m here in Kagoshima for work this time. Even though I’m sick, I couldn’t turn down the job, so I came to Kagoshima. But this is my first time visiting Kagoshima, so I’m really happy, and even though I have a cold, I’m glad I got to come here. I want to make the most of my time in Kagoshima. I originally lived in Tokyo, and now I live in Kamakura. Kagoshima is way down on the map, so it’s really far from where I live. It’s really far away. So, I never thought I’d have the chance to visit Kagoshima. I’m truly grateful to the person who gave me this opportunity. My account is called “Yuu’s Adventures.” I originally started this channel with the concept of introducing the beauty of Japan and its various places to people around the world. So, being able to share both the places I’ve visited and the ones I haven’t yet with everyone is something I’m really, really happy about. If there’s a place in Japan you’d like to see, please let me know in the comments. I’d love to read your comments and visit those places. When I take medicine and it starts to work, I can talk normally, but without it, I’m always like this. Ever since I had pneumonia, this kind of thing happens a lot. And once I start coughing, it becomes really difficult to speak properly. But taking medicine helps, and I can take some after I eat, so I think I’ll be able to talk normally again afterward. For now, I might sound like my voice could be unpleasant to listen to, but please forgive me. I’ll rest a bit until it’s time for dinner. Alright, it’s time to eat. Dinner looks absolutely extravagant. There’s a dish like kamameshi (rice cooked in an iron pot) included, and there’s also tempura. Tempura, shabu-shabu, and fish as well. It also has seaweed—maybe mozuku? Let’s dig in. I think this is mozuku. And this is scallop. Here’s the tempura. Have you ever tried tempura? It’s really delicious, so I hope you get the chance to try it someday. It’s so good. Japanese food is truly amazing. After traveling abroad, I always find myself missing Japanese food. I hope you’ll try Japanese food too. Good morning. After eating dinner last night, I wasn’t feeling well, so I went to bed right away. I think my bedhead is pretty wild right now. I’m going to take a bath in the onsen, have breakfast, and then head out to film more footage of Kagoshima. It looks like the weather is nice today. Here’s the view of the sunrise. It’s so beautiful. Birds are flying by. Since I just woke up, my hair is in pretty wild shape right now. My appearance changes a lot depending on my hairstyle, so I think I’m currently showing a pretty unflattering version of myself to the world. But hey, it’s real, and that’s a good thing, right? I still haven’t recovered today. Once I catch a cold, it takes a long time to get better. I really want to recover soon. I hope I feel better quickly. Alright, I’m going to take a bath. I just got out of the onsen. It felt really great. Taking a bath in the onsen in the morning really makes you feel refreshed. I wonder what’s for breakfast today. Last night’s dinner was absolutely delicious. So I’m really looking forward to breakfast. Everyone, if you come to Japan, be sure to enjoy Japanese food and take the opportunity to visit onsens as many times as you can. It’s truly an amazing experience. Alright, I’m off to have breakfast. I think the checkout time is at 10:00 a.m., but today, I plan to check out right after breakfast and head out. The reason is that I want to visit many different places. So, to make the most of my time for sightseeing, I can’t really take it too slow. That’s why I’m planning to check out early. This time, I’ve rented a car to travel to various places, and without a rental car, I don’t think I would have been able to go to so many spots. So, if you’re planning to travel to rural areas in Japan, I highly recommend renting a car. Of course, it might be difficult if you don’t have a driver’s license, but in that case, joining a tour might be a good idea. Alternatively, you could ask a friend to drive for you. I encourage you to make Japanese friends. Many Japanese people are quite friendly, so it would make me happy if you could get along with them. I think you’ll be able to enjoy many aspects of Japan. Alright, I’m off to breakfast. I’ve come for breakfast. It’s so luxurious. I’ll start with some miso soup. It’s delicious. For Japanese people, breakfast always includes miso soup. Whenever I drink miso soup, I feel grateful to have been born Japanese. Have you ever tried miso soup? I think this is probably sweet potato? It’s a sweetened dish made with sweet potato, I believe. It’s really delicious. This is crab kamaboko (crab fish cake). It’s tasty. When I was in America, I often found myself wanting to eat Japanese food. Japanese food is really delicious, so if you visit Japan, I recommend trying breakfast at a ryokan or hotel. But surprisingly, even food from Japanese convenience stores is delicious, so I hope you’ll give those a try too. Actually, Japanese instant ramen is incredibly tasty. Even though the packaging might look the same as American instant noodles, the taste is completely different! That really surprised me. So, things like bento boxes, snacks, and instant food are completely different too. Make sure to try all of those as well. Let me show you a little bit of my room. It’s not a very big room, but this black rotary phone is so nostalgic. I feel like my grandmother’s house had one of these when I was a kid. Or maybe not? I think it did. You probably don’t see these in any houses anymore. This really brings back memories. And then there’s this kind of light fixture. It’s a typical design you often see in old Japanese inns. There’s also a low table like this. And the toilet—it’s really small. Here it is. Isn’t it super cramped? It really feels like an old-fashioned Japanese toilet, doesn’t it? I guess you’re supposed to wash your hands here. And there’s toilet paper. When you sit down, the wall is literally right in front of you—it’s that kind of toilet. And here is the washbasin area. You can wash your face or brush your teeth here. Now, I wonder what this is over here. I haven’t checked this part yet. There’s a door. It feels like a mysterious or even creepy door. I feel like it’s one of those doors you shouldn’t open, so I’ll leave it alone. It’s not a very big room, but it has a charming, traditional Japanese ryokan vibe to it. I’m currently at Nishi-Oyama Station, the southernmost JR station in Japan. Take a look at this signboard. It says “Southernmost JR Station.” It’s located around here. This is the map of Japan, and the station is down here. I live around this area, so I’ve traveled quite far to get here. I wonder if that mountain over there is Oyama? If I’m wrong, I apologize. It’s such a peaceful and quiet area—it feels incredibly serene. It really feels like a typical Japanese countryside. This place is apparently famous for its trains. There are a lot of people here to photograph the trains, which only run about three times in the morning. So, I think there are more people here to take pictures of the trains rather than to actually ride them. Because of the competition, it might be a bit challenging to get a good shot. As you can see, more and more people are starting to gather. Interestingly, a lot of train photographers tend to have pretty fiery tempers. The reason is that rare trains are really hard to see, so the people who come to photograph them tend to be quite on edge. Some even shout or get angry quickly. Well, I guess it can’t be helped. Though I don’t think getting angry is a good thing. The train should arrive in just a few minutes. This train only comes once every few hours, so many people gather here to take photos and videos of it. The competition seems really intense. Everyone is busy taking photos and videos. I’ve come to a famous tourist spot called the Golden Torii Gate. It seems like they’re selling dragon eggs over there. Dragon eggs. I wonder what would happen if you ate one? But honestly, I don’t think I want to eat a dragon egg. Since it’s called the Golden Torii Gate, I wondered how golden it would be, but it’s more of a yellowish color. But if you look closely, maybe it is gold? There are two torii gates here. This spot also seems to be quite famous as a tourist attraction. There are a lot of koban (gold coins) here. Wow, there’s a dragon inside. It feels like if you pray here, you might become wealthy. You bow once in front of this torii gate before proceeding forward. In the distance, you can see the mountain I mentioned earlier, Oyama. The view is absolutely stunning. Beside me are houses that look like traditional countryside homes. This area is probably a popular spot for photography. It’s so beautiful. You don’t often get the chance to see stunning countryside views like this, so it’s really a joy to be here. Especially Kagoshima—how many more times will I be able to visit in my lifetime? Maybe I’ll never come here again. So being able to see this view is truly something to be grateful for. Walking through Kagoshima, I’ve noticed how beautiful the pampas grass is. Even while driving, I saw pampas grass growing everywhere. Here, it looks like farmers are growing vegetables. Vegetables right next to a shrine. It’s a very unusual sight. It feels like a shrine without any strict rules. Maybe it was built to attract visitors as a tourist spot. There doesn’t seem to be a priest here either, so it might be a place built more for photography or sightseeing than for worship. Walking around Kagoshima, I’ve noticed there are barely any people here. In Kamakura, where I live, there are tons of tourists, but Kagoshima has hardly any. Tokyo also has a huge number of people, but in Kagoshima, it’s just so quiet and empty. Because of this, I think you can really enjoy traveling here with a sense of freedom. Is this also a dragon? It’s golden—completely painted in yellow. How interesting. There’s another golden dragon over here. The view is stunning. It’s truly a beautiful sight. It’s a view you don’t often get to see. This is the Golden Torii Gate. Traveling is truly wonderful. You get to enjoy various landscapes and have so many different experiences. When I was a kid, I didn’t travel much, and now I feel like I missed out on those opportunities. You can gain so many great experiences through travel. Right now, I see a bird flying over there—it’s a bird I’ve never seen before. Its colors are so beautiful. Unfortunately, I can’t capture the bird with this camera. I really wish I could take a photo. For this trip, I didn’t bring a telephoto lens because I didn’t have the energy to carry it. So unfortunately, I can’t capture any of the wild birds. But someday, I’d like to come back here and photograph the wild birds. The blooming flowers, the plants, the insects walking by, the birds flying overhead, and even the strangers you meet—it’s the freshness of these experiences that makes traveling so enjoyable. I’m really glad I came here. The Golden Torii Gate. If you ever visit Kagoshima, make sure to check out this Golden Torii Gate. It’s really fascinating. Apparently, you can feed the koi fish here. There’s even a sign saying, “You can feed the koi fish.” The water here is incredibly clear. I wonder if the koi fish are over there? I can see them over there. There are so many of them! There are so many koi fish, but they look quite different from the ones in the picture or illustration I saw earlier. There are so many of them, but the koi I saw earlier looked like this. And the koi here now look like this. They’re completely different. But I guess they gather here because people feed them. I’m now at a place called Daguri Cape. Once again, we’re by the sea. Here’s what the ocean looks like. It’s absolutely beautiful. Kagoshima feels like a place completely surrounded by the ocean. When I think of the ocean, I usually imagine there being a lot of people, but in Kagoshima, there’s hardly anyone around. It’s honestly surprising how few people there are—even tourists are scarce. So, for those who want to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of a less crowded countryside, I think Kagoshima is a fantastic choice. I was born and raised in Tokyo, and now I live in Kamakura, so I’m always surrounded by crowds of people. Of course, having a lot of people around brings convenience and accessibility, but on the other hand, the crowds can make it hard to walk, increase traffic, and make driving more difficult. Tokyo is great, but I’ve realized that visiting quieter, less crowded rural areas like this can be really wonderful too. Kagoshima is highly recommended! It’s so peaceful, time feels like it flows at a slower pace, there’s plenty of delicious food, and the people are so kind. The only thing is, without a car, it’s hard to get around and see many places, so I’d recommend renting a car if you’re planning to visit. I truly recommend it. The thing is, I’m not a big fan of wind. When it’s windy, like when I’m flying a drone or trying to film something, the strong wind makes it quite difficult to shoot, so I tend not to like it. But Kagoshima seems to be quite windy. Maybe it’s because it’s an open area by the ocean? I think the wind might be strong here due to its coastal location. Now, I’m heading back to Osaka by ferry. I’ve arrived at the ferry. It’s another buffet, so I’m picking out some food. What should I eat? Buffets are so much fun. Curry rice sounds good, but so does salad. There’s seafood too. The menu doesn’t seem to have changed much. There’s a lot of fruit. The cake was delicious when I had it last time. This will be my last dinner in Kagoshima. I’ve picked up some croquettes, fried chicken, seaweed, and a variety of other dishes. Let’s eat. I feel like I’m starting to recover a bit. Maybe it’s thanks to Kagoshima’s healthy food. To be honest, I don’t think I was able to show you all the wonderful spots in Kagoshima in this video. I think my poor health prevented me from introducing as much as I wanted to. I’d love to show you more places when I’m feeling better, so I hope you’ll watch my videos again in the future. If you haven’t subscribed to my channel yet, I’d be really happy if you did. And if you leave a comment, it would mean so much to me. See you in the next video! Bye for now!

This video is about Kagoshima, which is home to many beautiful tourist destinations in Japan. I’ll be introducing delicious food, ryokan (traditional inns), hot springs, and sightseeing spots, so I’d be happy if you could watch the video until the end!
