Japanese Baseball Fans Are WILD – Tigers vs Giants!
Today we are going to see Japan’s
biggest professional baseball rivalry, a game between the Henshin Tigers and the
Tokyo Giants. But first, Tony is going to get an acupuncture treatment at the Osaka train
station. Yeah, you heard that right, acupuncture at the train station. And after that, we’ll make
our way to the Omea Sky Building where we’re going to go to the very top and leave a special
symbol of our love attached to the railing. So, watch this video all the way till the end and
let us know in the comments what your favorite part of our day was. All right, guys. So, we
were walking through the subway station here, and we found this beautiful shop, which is a
acupuncture and chiropractic office. And you guys don’t know this, but I’ve had two back surgeries
from a work injury that I had back in 2004. And uh my back’s been killing me from a long flight
and just sleeping on a different bed. So, here I’m going to get acupuncture and whatever
else they do, and you guys are going to be right here with us. So, let’s wait and see how
this turns out. I couldn’t believe I found an acupuncture therapist in the train station. Look
around. It’s very clean. The staff, they were very attentive and they made sure we all understood
each other before, during, and after the treatment. And now look here. She’s making sure
I feel better now than I did when I walked in. [Music] That was good. And I feel good. But I am
done with the acupuncture. And let me tell you, it felt amazing. Didn’t understand a word they
were saying to me, but they use Google Translate and they told me, “Don’t move or you’re going
to get burned.” So, I did understand that. And I just laid there still, but I could tell you
that my neck in my back actually feel really good. And it cost what was $5,600 yen. So, that’s
about $42, you guys. that same treatment in the US would have been easily over 150 bucks and not
nearly as quick or as good as they did here. So, now we’re going to head on. Right now, we’re in
the UDA station. We think we’re going to the sky building. So, when we get there, you guys are
going to check it out and uh see the view from up top up high. Look around at all the different
shops and restaurants here. Again, we’re in the train station. All right, guys. Look at this. We
stumbled upon a international soccer match with blind players. How cool is this? They’re having a
tournament right here in Osaka. Take a look. This was really inspiring to see these athletes. Well,
they’re playing soccer blind. They’re chasing and kicking a ball around that makes noise to alert
them of where it is. And if you look closely, you can see that their eyes are covered with
blindfolds. This is because some of the players have different levels of blindness, so it makes
the game equal for all of the participants. This is an international tournament where these
guys have come from all over the world, men and women, to compete here in Osaka, Japan. And what
a treat it is for us as tourists to come and actually get to see this for the very first time.
I say let’s head over to this sky building. Guys, what do you say? All right, travelers. We
are making our way to that building you see in front of us right there. It’s called the
Umida Sky Building. It’s the tallest building in Osaka. and we’re going to make our way up to
the top and show you guys Osaka from up high. So, check out my new hat. We’re going to the Tiger
Game later and it’s going to be amazing and you guys will be right there with us. So, let’s
uh get ready to head into the sky building and we’ll see you from the top. Look at the size
of that building right there. I’m not sure how tall it is. We’re going to find out as soon as
we go inside. But just look at how cool and how big this building is called the Uda Sky Building.
Welcome to the iconic Uda Sky Building in Osaka, Japan. A futuristic marble that looks like
it belongs in a sci-fi movie. Towering 173 m above the city, its twin towers are
connected by the floating garden observatory, offering jaw-dropping 360° views. We took a glass
elevator straight to the top. And yes, it feels like you’re ascending into the clouds. Up here,
Osaka stretches endlessly in every direction. It’s a perfect place to take in the sunset,
snap some epic skyline photos, and feel the pulse of this vibrant city from above. If you’re
in Osaka, don’t miss this sky-high experience. All right, guys. Check out this escalator we’re
going on right now. It’s like Universal Studios. This escalator is awesome. It seems like
we’re going right into outer space. [Music] Thank you. All right, guys. So, we ordered
our tickets on Cloop and now we are headed up to the top here. All right, so we paid
$22.89. That gets us ticketed up here. Plus, we got a heart on a block that we’re
going to put up here to leave our mark on the sky building. But take a
look at this, you guys. What a view. [Music] Let’s go get our heart lock. Whoa, look at that. Which one? Yeah. Fill it out right here. [Music] All
right. So, we’re done filling it out. Now, we’re going to walk it over
here and we will get in easy process. That’s really gummy.
Can I? Yeah. That’s amazing. Oh, wow. Whoa. Wow. That was really cool. Beautiful.
Yeah. Thank you. How cool is that? All right, we’re making our way up to the top. And look at
here, guys. Coming outside. The view up here is amazing. Not only does Osaka look spectacular, but
check out the architecture of this building. Now, let’s go lock our lock of love
into the sky building. [Music] This is going to lock it. And we are locked in. All right. And that is going to end our time
here at the um Sky Building. It was awesome. I hope you guys enjoyed the view. Now we’re headed
back to the hotel. We’re going to change, charge batteries, and head to a baseball game. So, let’s
go cheer on the Tigers. All right, we have made it. We have made it to the stadium. Look around at
all the baseball fans. Our first objective is to try to get in. We’ve got tickets, but they said
you had to print them. We have no printer. So, we’re hoping that uh our QR code on our phone and
our e tickets going to be enough. Let’s get down there and check it out. You guys, this is going to
be a lot of fun. [Music] Huh? Oh, we have. Yeah. [Music] So, look at that. They even have ticket
scalpers in Japan. Yeah. Check this out, guys. We are here. Look around. We’re on our way into the
stadium. Got our tickets. We didn’t need to print them. Turns out that our QR codes are just enough.
So, let’s get in and enjoy some baseball game. Oh, okay. Sorry. Okay. Oh, that way. That
way. That way. Excuse me. 18 gate on this way. That way. Okay. Thank you. Thank All
right. So, we’re in the wrong gate. We got a lot dating. But everybody is so
nice. Yeah. You know, so that’s cool. Right there. Started raining. So, came to the souvenir shop
and we’re getting some ponchos. Everybody’s wearing them here. So, it looks like
uh rain or shine getting this game. All right, guys. We’ve made it to the stadium.
As you can see, it’s been raining. The rain has stopped for now. Look at this beautiful
baseball field and all these fans out here. So pumped up. Getting loud over here. We
got some Giants fans right here. Over there, you got another fan. It’s going to
be a great game. What do you think, baby? Can’t wait. You guys, it’s about 20 minutes
before first pitch and look at the crowd. They’re singing the local fight song for the team.
It is awesome here. And this is the biggest rivalry in Japan. The Tigers of the Giants. We
got lucky. We got pretty much the last season. We bought these tickets. 1% of the tickets
were left. And look where we are. Stadium. But like I said, Vanessa were the only
ones in this place that have backgrounds. Check it out, guys. They have beer
girls at the game. They walk around, sell you. We’re all getting wet,
but we’re having a great time. She got a dog. She got a dog. She got [Music] down. [Music] [Music] That’s okay. [Music] [Applause] So, there was just a bang bang play at the plate
and they’re going to video review. Let’s see what happens. The play before was a safe or actually
a suicide screw. See, the guy’s safe. The Giants fans just saw it and they’re calling him safe.
I thought he got in there too under the He got way in there under the tag. Look at the
Giants fans. Yep. He’s going to be safe, guys. It’s going to be a three nothing ball game
here in a second. Here we go. Here comes the call. [Applause] The call on the field has been reversed. It was a safe call and
the Giants fans are celebrating. All right, guys. It’s raining, so we’re going to
head out a little early at the 4 nothing ball game for the Giants. And we’re going to get on the
subway before all these people do it. [Music]
