Hi guys, I am here at the um Hiroshim Bomb Dome. Yeah. Uh now the building known as the bomb dome was designed by Czech architect John Leil completed in 1915. Yeah. So, at around 8:15 a.m. August 6th, 1945, an American B229 bomber carried out of the world’s first atomic bombing. The bomb exploded approximately 600 m above and 100 cm southeast of Hiroshima prefecture, ripping through the igniting the building, instantly killing everyone in it. Look, the blast struck from almost directly above some of the center walls remain standing now and uh leaving enough building in iron frame to be recognizable as a dome. After the war, these dramatic remains came to be known as a bomb dome.
