Japan To Korea By Ferry: Arriving In South Korea’s Most Beautiful City
This is by far the greatest journey yet on our travels. We are taking the ferry from Japan over there in the distance to South Korea. A journey that will take 6 hours in total. We are currently staying in a first class cabin. Yeah, let’s go check out the boat. We have just got on the boat. We’re the last ones on. Oh, sorry. Just knock me out the way. We’ve now got to find our room. Yeah, I think we have found our room. 546. Well, I hope they I hope they remember the sex medit. Goodness. So, we actually booked first class. So, let’s see what first class is like on a ferry. Lovely. Wow. You got the door. Yeah, I’ve got a This is very nice. You got two two bunk beds, a lovely view, little table. Got this bag of goodies. Mystery bag. While Drew’s opening that, have a little look at this view. Very nice. You got a table. Guy Mia, you’ve got a uh TV. Wow. Two bunk beds. And then through here, how much was this? We got some sort of storage area and a sink. Pretty good. This cost about 60 quid each as well. It’s a 6-hour journey from Fukuyioa in Japan to Busousan in South Korea. Uh Mia is now opening the uh mystery bag of goodies. What What have we got? Toothbrush, moisture conditioner. Lovely. Little bar of soap. That’s going to go in our little supplies bag for the trip, the rest of the career. Body wash. Lovely. Shampoo. You get slippers. Slippers. Slippers as well. Your big towel. And a towel. Four. Four beds. You got two bunk beds. There’s three of us in here. So, I don’t know if someone’s going to maybe join us later on. I’m not quite sure. I don’t know if we’ve just booked the room. That’s probably more likely. We’ve got a key. She said one key. We’ve got one key. Yeah. So, I reckon it is just us in the room. Absolutely stunning views. TV. And we’ve also got a sink in the back for some reason if you want to wash your hands. The toilet I think is a shared toilet. So maybe we’ll check that out later and maybe get a shower cuz they’re a little bit sweaty carrying all these bags and it’s very hot in the Japanese summer. So a bit of advice is get yourself some food from a comini. So a family m or 7-Eleven before you come because we were told that there was no food on it or it was really expensive. So we grabbed a load of stuff for the 6-hour journey. We’ve got oursel Mia’s got a soup. She’s already tuck it in. She cannot wait. I’ve got this katsu curry and then we’ve got a whole bag of goodies and snacks in here. So, last meal from a family mart in Japan before we depart to South Korea. We’ll show you what snacks we got. Yeah. Up next, we have now set off for Kyioa and we’re embarking on our journey to city of Busousan. I think it’s only fitting to now try out the bed. Let’s do the bed test. Is it cozy? It’s not bad for 6 hours. For 6 hours. Can’t really complain. It’s pretty good. Right, the moment you’ve all been waiting for. The selection of snacks that we’ve got for this 6-hour journey to Busousan. Starting with probably the best snack you can ever get in Japan. The custard fish. This thing is unbelievable. It’s got cold custard in the middle of this pastry and it’s just oh one of our favorite snacks we’ve had in Japan so far. Then we’ve got some uh softboiled eggs. Another sandwich for later on. That’s chicken and egg in a wrap sort of style. Yogurt, which I’m tucking into right now. Mia’s got a teriyaki chicken and egg sandwich. And then to finish it off, guys, we’ve got some crisps and some popcorn. And I’m on to the yogurt drink. And she’s on to the yogurt. Do you think that’ll be enough, Mia? Yeah. Should be enough. Hi. Hi. Is this the game room? Yeah, man. Put 100 yang in there. You’re joking. This machine’s just took my 100 yen. What a bloody joke. What? You want to bet I’ll go in. Oh, there she goes. A they’ve done that so you can’t go in. Whoa. I tell you what. What? That’s not fair. Also got karaoke rooms on the boat. Literally got four of them all along here. Maybe later we’ll do a bit of karaoke. Look at this bath. Wow. Can you anyone go in here? Wow. Come on. Hi. Hi. Oh, this is cool, isn’t it? Wow. Check that out. Man. Oh, sorry. Just for man. Woman. Oh, this is Thank you. Man only. Oh, do you have to go in there naked? Oh, I don’t know. Bye. Thank you. Right, we went in the wrong Well, me went in the wrong one. this man only. So, as you saw, there is actually a bath on board, but you’ve got to strip down completely naked with a bunch of strangers. So, I don’t know. Maybe we’ll do it. We’ll see. Like an absolute maze around this boat. All sorts of little corridors and things you can do. You’ve got the baths, the karaoke, absolutely all sorts. Right behind us guys, we’ve got the city of Busousan in the distance. We are now making our way there and we are going to be arriving shortly and then we can get off the boat and uh see what Busousan’s all about. Yeah, it looks very cool from a distance at the moment. You can see the old skyscrapers and the the sunlight. Looks very beautiful. Looks incredibly scenic. You’ve got the city here with the the ocean and then the actual buildings up in the mountains. Very picturesque. We are very excited to start our journey traveling to South Korea, aren’t we? It’s going to be amazing. It’s going to be a good one. Buzzing for it. Yeah, like I’m excited already. Too excited. Oh, bloody hell. Who’s this lazy one? No, I’m a fish. Getting a trolley. Right, we have arrived in Busousan, the coastal city. Very beautiful. It looks very modern. And this is our room for the next four nights. Is it Mia? Four nights. Yeah. For the next four nights. This is our room. So, it’s very basic. It is just a bed, air conditioning, and then you’ve got like a wardrobe here, the desk, and then the toilet is for me on this floor, and then for me the next floor up, the men and women separate. But yeah, so we’re going to go out now and get some food and check out Busousan with a smile. Oh, soup. Soup. Soup. Well, we have got a little feast here in Busousan. This this dish here is some egg with vegetables. We’ve got soup, rice, dumplings, and then some kimchi. Wow, it’s a bit hot. So, we are eating well tonight. That is humongous. So, what is it? A pancake. It’s a pancake. Interesting looking pancake. But there’s not much uh in the way of What’s in it? Oh, that’s octopus. Seafood. Seafood pancake. Wow. Oh, octopus in there. That looks pretty good. It’s my first experience having one of these corn dogs. It’s absolutely smothered in ketchup. I had no idea what it was. I’ve took a bite into it and then inside the actual batter is a sausage. Nice little snack. It cost me about 1.70. Little guy like a Frankfurt sausage in the middle and then you’ve got a load of soft sort of crispy batter around the outside. Right, South Korea is proving great difficulty at the moment. As you can see, Mia’s being blown away by the wind. It’s so nice that breeze. It’s a nice breeze though, but it’s extremely hot here and we’re having a few issues. So, the first issue was that Google Maps doesn’t work and also the money out here. The Revolute card, all our travel cards don’t work. Also, SIM cards as well. There’s no nowhere we could get a physical SIM card. But where there’s a wheel, there is a way. So, we’ve got an app called Caca Mats which works in South Korea. Um, we’ve also got a eSIM offline. I just searched cheap eims in South Korea and we got one for about £5 for 20 days which gives you about 15 GB of data. The moneywise, we got a T card I think it was called and we loaded loads of money up on there in a 7-Eleven and that can be used with any sort of public transportation. So, there’s a way around it but we can’t really complain anyway because we are surrounded by this absolutely gorgeous beach. Look at the actual scenery there in the distance with the skyscraper. It’s absolutely gorgeous as me is struggling. We’ve actually had a few weather warnings come through on our phone from must be the South Korean government or something saying there’s a heat wave here at 11:00 which is sort of now. So that’s probably why it’s so bloody hot. as well. All right, we have made our way to Song Jong Beach, if that’s pronounced correctly. We just took the uh beach train along the coast, which is very nice. You got to see all the coastal views as you went along on the train. So, we’ve now come to this beach, which is much more local here in Busousang. There’s not many tourists here. There’s a lot of people surfing, so it’s pretty cool. We stopped for a coffee and then we’re going to check this place out. Absolutely incredibly gorgeous sandy beaches. Probably something you wouldn’t expect in South Korea. All the men have foundation on. All the men have foundation on me. It says I think they take their uh skin care here very seriously. Um everyone’s got perfect skin is what I’ve noticed. Anyway, we are now getting some public transport in the form of a bus here in Busousang. We’re going to another beach as this is a city with seven major beaches. So yeah, we’re going to head over to another beach which has a bit more of a night life. Right, we have just got off the bus. A smooth enough journey. Um just seems like it’s one of them cities, Busousan, where it just takes so long to get anywhere. Um they’ve got all the infrastructure in place. They’ve got the metro system, the buses. It’s all pretty good, but just one of them cities. It’s so big. It just takes so long to get anywhere. We are here at Guanguali Beach, which definitely isn’t the way to say it, but anyway, yeah, it’s a very nice beach. Incredible settings. We’ve got fireworks in the distance over there. And then look at these all the lights in the distance. There’s music going on over there. Very lively night here in Guangali Beach in Busousan. incredible scenes to uh kind of gives me like Daang vibes in Vietnam with the beach and then the skyscrapers right next to it. Happy girl. Right guys, we are back at the hotel. A long old day. It’s been very hot. We’ve enjoyed Busousan so far. I feel like there’s a lot more for Busousan has got to offer, but so far has been pretty good. We’ve seen a few beaches and uh yeah, we look forward to exploring a bit more of Busousan. So stay tuned for that one. Don’t forget to comment, like, and subscribe.
We Took a Ferry From Japan To South Korea’s Most Beautiful City.
In this video, we board a ferry from Fukuoka in Japan to Busan in South Korea. We opted for a first class cabin to fully enjoy the experience. This place honestly felt like a floating hotel. It had baths, karaoke rooms, arcade rooms and a restaurant.
After an enjoyable 6 hour journey, we arrive in the incredibly beautiful city of Busan. On the approach in we soak up some very picturesque views of the city surrounded by mountains, sea and skyscrapers.
Once of the boat, we struggle to navigate the busy city and slightly confusing metro system before reaching our hotel.
The next day we dive into everything Busan has got to offer from sublime beaches to street food and even the modern transit system. Busan is a super cool city and definitely one I would recommend.
