Naminoue Shrine, Okinawa
So hello, we are at the Nami Oi. Nami shrine. Yes. And so we are supposed to pray for the live people. So the difference between a shrine and a temple is the temple is pray for the people who passed away. And the shrine is for uh pray for people uh who are still alive and with us. And in order to pray for live people, we clean our hands, mouth, and heart. So you go there, use the live spring water, wash your left hands first and then the right hands second and wash your mouth and the heart and then you go there to pray. And how do you pray? You have to bow twice, bow and clap your hands and then bow twice. Exactly. So I have prayed for all the people around me. Oh, lovely. That was nice of you. Thank you for that. Pray for me, too. Absolutely. Lovely. Thank you.
