MY NEW FAVORITE COASTER?!?! | Fuji-Q Highland, Asakusa Hanayashiki, & Tokyo Dome City Vlog

What is up, coaster conquers? It is me, Austin, here with my girlfriend Ariana. And today is very interesting cuz right now we are at Tokyo Dome City in Tokyo, Japan. However, we are not going to be riding Thunder Dolphin today because unfortunately I just found out apparently that’s going to be closed for a while. However, there is a Kitty Coaster here and we are going to seek the Kitty Coaster credit. By the way, this is the first part of like what will be my Fuji Q vlog. So, this will be the same video, but I’m just going to start it off here at Tokyo Dome City. We’re going to be here today and then a few days and in a few days, we’ll be at Fuji Q. So, I’m really looking forward to that park and I’m forward to getting at least, you know, my first roller coaster in Japan, even if it’s a little kitty coaster. Are you excited for it? We’re excited. Yeah. Yeah. Let’s go. Currently kind of adventuring to get here, but there does seem to be some directions. Be gone is this way down the underpass. Hopefully, we should find it in not too long. All right. So, there’s the roller coaster. It’s called Panic Coaster. Back down. This will be my first coaster in Japan and all of Asia. Yes, it’s an indoor kitty coaster, but you know, I’ve got to seek the credit. All right, y’all. Ariana and I just rode Panic Coaster Back Done. That is both of our first coaster in Japan and all of Asia, and it was surprisingly fun. Like, the stats, if you look on our CDB, the stats are very weak. However, it’s really cool. And I’d say it’s even like it’s not just a kitty coaster. Like it’s kind of a family coaster because like it launches, it goes backwards. The setting’s cool because it’s like it’s like dark and indoors at first and then it lights up and it there’s a pretty cool like onride soundtrack. I know it’s a Gerslower ride. So that makes sense why it’s like such a fun like little attraction. What do you think of Panic Coaster back? Absolutely amazing. I have never been on a small kitty ride that has been so fun. Like the way when backwards in the dark and there’s a cool breeze, they’re playing Japanese music in the background. It was so cute, right? It definitely was. I actually really like that. I almost wish I could ride it like again, but like it was a lot of fun. I’m glad I got a coaster credit like here at Tokyo Dome City. Even if the main one I own Winter Ride is not operating right now, which I am very disappointed about. At least I got a coaster credit and at least it was a fun one. I’m really happy about that. So, I think now I’m going to transition over to the Fuji Q vlog. So, I’ll see y’all then. We are not at Fujic yet. So right now we are actually at Asakusa and we’re going to ride the oldest roller coaster in Japan. It is literally called a roller coaster manufactured by Togo. Opened in 1953, so that’s like 72 years ago. And this will be my first coaster from Japanese manufacturer Togo. So I’m looking forward to that. You excited to ride yet another coaster here in the Tokyo area? All right, let’s go. Heat. Heat. We just rode roller coaster here at this little amusement park in Asakasa. Oldest coaster in Japan, built in 1953 and my first ever Togo coaster. That coaster was interesting for sure. It was a little fun, but it was also very janky, you know, and you know, you I could kind of tell that like before even riding it. But, you know, cool to have another little coaster cred before I hit the big parks here in Japan. What do you think of roller coaster? I felt the same as you. It was very janky and very good. Uh, it wasn’t done, but it’s okay. We got the credit, right? It definitely was. But yeah, I’m glad I have I think that’s Coaster credit 204 for me. So, now going to head over to Boogie Q tomorrow. So, see y’all there. All right, y’all. Now we are at FujiQu Highland here in Fujioshida, Japan. Really looking forward to this as our first major like some of our first major coasters in Japan. Our first I’d say major park in Japan. Really looking forward to rides like Asian and Takabisha and Fujama. So are you excited for that? Yes. All right, let’s go. It’s okay. I love how you walk through this little area. Feels like very like Frenchlike. So, I think that’s really cool. But I’m also very much looking forward to the coasters here, such as like this one, Takabisha. Here are some information for your visit. Please note that operations attractions may be suspended due to sudden changes in weather or mechanical adjustments. All right, here’s the real park entrance right here. After going through here, I’ll officially be in the park and able to ride these great looking coasters here at Fuji Highland. All right, now I’m about to ride Takabisha, the Scurslower Euro Fighter Coaster. And an awesome looking ride indeed here at Fujicq Highland. It’s my first coaster of the day. I’m really excited for this one. What’s pretty wild about this ride is it’s one of the steepest like one of the steepest drops on any coaster in the world. It has a max like a max angle of descent of 121°. So I think this will be the steepest drop on a coaster all have ridden. It also starts off with a launch and has seven inversions, which is a lot for a Gerslau Euro Fighter coaster. So, this is going to be really exciting. almost. aboutchech. Thank you so much. I use my picture. All right, y’all. We just rode our first I’d say this is our first major coaster in Japan and our first coaster of the day, Takabisha, here at Fujiku Highland. And that is such a crazy ride. It’s a lengthy ride cuz starts off with a launch and then it slows down, goes up a vertical lift. And that beyond vertical drop is just wild. Like that is just one of the like wildest experiences ever. Unfortunately, there wasn’t a really good view of Mount Fuji. It was covered by the clouds, but I mean it’s still like an awesome ride. You still get an awesome view of the surrounding area. Ariana, what did you think of super super fun minus my legs being strapped in place? Yeah. Yeah, I think she got stapled a bit. Only thing is you do have to like it can be a little shaky and the restraints are a bit bulky. So you I’d recommend like keeping your head very firmly back. But like other than that, like it’s a really fun ride. I just No, no, no. You guys want to do panic? Pretty wild is they still have the loop from the former dodumpa up. So that’s pretty cool that they still like have that up. I don’t know if it will stay up, but it’s still really cool. All right, now this should hopefully be the entrance here. I’m going to get a ride on what looks to be one of the best coasters in Japan here, Asia. This just looks like an absolutely wild ride. I’ve run X2 and I hear this one’s even better. This coaster opened in 2006. It is an SNS coaster. X2 was that was manufactured by Aerodynamics, but that was their last coaster that they made. So SNS continued this with a couple more coasters. This one here in Japan as well as Dinoonda over in China. So it’s going to be really cool to ride one of the SNS 40 coasters. They’re like original coasters before the free spins. And this just looks like such a wild ride. Ariana, are you excited for this ride? Are you ready for it? You ready for Asia? All right. Yeah, let’s go. Enjoy. Please carefully check the information. What’s really interesting about this coaster is that when it first opened, it got a Guinness World Record for like the most like inversions sort of on a coaster because even though I don’t think the track has this many, the ride is supposed to flip, at least it claims to, the ride is supposed to flip 14 times. So, like 14 like inversions because of the flipping. So, that’s pretty wild. I’ve never ridden a coaster with that many inversions. I think the most inversions I’ve experienced on a coaster are all the seven inversion coasters I’ve ridden or I’ve ridden X2 and that one flips a lot. So maybe that beats it. I don’t know. And I know the Smiler at Alton Towers in the UK has beat like the actual like track inversion count by like matching it at 14 sort of. Just think that’s that’s really cool about this coaster. So I hope I can get a lot of flips on this coaster cuz that would just make it an even wilder experience. We’ll see how that goes. Guys, we just rode Asianika here at Fujiku Highland in Fuji Yoshi, Japan. Adiana, I want you to start us off. What did you think of that ride? That was the most scariest and intense roller coaster I’ve ever been on my entire life. Not even joking. It flips you like the entire time and your legs are flying. You try to hold on to the cushion with your legs and you’re just flying. It’s insane. Yeah. And I got off just like, wow. I’m I am just aruck. Yeah. So, that for sure. Here’s what I have to say about this. I was expecting this coaster to be a little better than X2. I really liked X2, but it wasn’t like in my top 10. This might be one of the best, if not the best coasters I’ve And I’ve ridden like Iron Guazi, Steel Vengeance. Those are my favorites. This might be the best coaster of the trip. And it was scary. Like especially the ending because the way it flips you at the end. I will say some of them are a little like some of the flips are a little jolty, but I feel like that makes it even like crazier of a ride and even more thrilling of a ride, especially at the end cuz it’s scary the way it like flips you into the break run. There was so many flips, so many crazy elements. I was screaming the whole ride. That That was just such a wild experience. My expectations are exceeded. I get the hype. This is way better than X2 somehow. This coaster is definitely Yeah. And awesome, right? Is this one of your favorites that you’ve ever as well? Yes. And I I don’t get nervous for like thrilling roller coasters because I’ve been all my entire like, oh, it’s just probably another like thrilling coaster and I probably won’t be that amusing. It was amazing. It sure was. That That was just crazy. I I can’t believe this coaster even exists. All right, I might be riding this coaster over here next. This ride and I could be wrong in pronouncing it. It’s called Zakon. I think this is the newest coaster in the park. It is a family I think a family motorbike launch coaster I think from Intimmen. Opened in 2023 and it looks like a lot of fun. I feel like I want to ride this as a bit of a breather. Even if it is still like a fun and like fairly thrilling coaster, it’s still like a bit of a breather before I ride Fujiama here. Plus, this might even be a better ride cuz I anticipate it being a lot smoother. But yeah, just some of the people I’m here with need a bit of a breather for the ride cuz I mean this coaster is just wild and like pretty much like a scary ride. Like this ride is like terrifying, but it’s so fun. But yeah, here’s Zon right here. Another idea. Heat. Heat. All right, we just rode Zakon and honestly that ride is just fun. It felt like I was on like a motorcycle dance party cuz it had this like cute soundtrack, this Japanese song that played on the ride and the lighting effects were really cool. It was a lengthy ride experience. Went forwards, backwards, forwards again, multiple launches. It was just lots of fun. Still a thrilling ride, even if it’s a lot more chill than something crazy like Asian. Like that that ride is just wild. But very cool ride. Also very smooth. I mean, it’s the newest coaster in the park, so you’d expect it to be smooth, but it was a very smooth coaster, for sure. What did you think of that coaster? It was super cute. Loved it. I agree with you. Right. For sure. I loved it, too. All right, I think next I’m going to ride this massive coaster. I think it’s the tallest and fastest coaster in the park. It is a massive hyper coaster called Fujiama. I’m looking forward to this for it. You know, it’s a it’s a really big coaster. Looks like has a really fun drop. Some really fun elements. Only thing I’m not looking forward to is that it seems pretty janky. I mean, from what I’ve seen, like the transitions and the turns look janky. So, I’m going to have to brace myself for that. But, it’ll be cool to get this Togo Credit cuz this will be my first big one. Yesterday, I rode the oldest coaster in Japan, which is a Togo Credit, but that one’s a lot smaller. This is a much more large scale ride opened in 1996 by Togo and it’s going to be a pretty wild ride. Yeah. Heat. All right, y’all. We just rode Fujama, which is the tallest and fastest coaster in the park. I think it’s also the tallest coaster you’ve written at a maximum height of 259.2 ft or I think that’s 79 m. Although when we ride Steel Dragon, that’ll definitely beat that. And most of that ride was fine. The first turns weren’t that bad. They were a little janky, but they weren’t like super uncomfortable. It was pretty fun, like at first. Towards the end, there was just this series of like turns going like up like this, this, this, this. The ending was pretty bad. I’m not going to lie. It was it was very rough towards the end. But the start of the ride was fun. Like it’s it’s I think most of the ride’s fun. It’s just held back by a bit of its jankiness towards the end. still a bit of an exciting experience if it at least initially. What did you think of Fujyama? Um, I thought it was super fun. I loved how high up they went and I love the view of the trees and the mountains and stuff. But yeah, there was some turns it was just too janky. Slimy love, right? It was too much. Like it’s it’s a massive coaster, which is cool. And it’s a really cool coaster to look at. It’s really fun to experience like climbing up that lift hill and going down that initial drop. But you got to brace yourself for the ending on this one at least. Might ride this next. It has a weird name according to RCDB. So, I’ll probably just type what it is or show youall the sign. I’m hoping this is open. I saw it running earlier, but looks like a very interesting like suspended coaster. The coaster cars look very interesting on it, too. So, hoping to get this other little credit here. Also, I just realized it’s like less than an hour before park closed and I think they close off the lines early instead of just letting them run, letting the lines be open till the end of the park day. So, I might only get like either this ride or like the other kitty ride in. This is what the ride’s called. Voyage Gans Lassio. I might be butchering that. This looks like a very, very unique and interesting coaster. It was manufactured by I believe it was a Japanese coaster manufacturer. I’ll put the name of the screen cuz I forget, but definitely looks like it’ll have a interesting layout for sure. I’ve also seen the coaster cars and they’re very like kind of cutesy. So, very interesting. And there’s like these animal like characters here. Guess Gaspart and Lisa. So, must be some lore. I think this must like sort of explain the lore of the attraction. So, that’s very interesting. This time there All right, y’all. We just rode this very unique suspended coaster here. And I’m going to be honest, that would be a pretty calm ride if it wasn’t for the fact that every midcourse and every single break run was just so harsh. Like, I’m not going to lie. But the rest of the ride, you know, it was it was pretty calm and relaxing. Although, it was a bit like rattly a bit, but it was cool like getting to kind of travel throughout the park. Also, the seating situation can be a little interesting if you’re like not a little kid because like you have to if you’re two people riding in a coaster car, then you have to like lap sit and it is a bit of a like tight space in the coaster car. So, that’s just how that is. So, what did you think of that coaster? It was very cute. I love it. It definitely is. It’s very cute. Like the theming. It definitely is. The theming is really cute. Like I think it’s these like I don’t know who the characters are. I think I showed them earlier. French puppies, right? I think so. I think that’ll wrap up our day since the park isn’t going to close in like too long. Like the park isn’t going to be open for very long. Overall, I think this park was very interesting cuz there’s some really good coasters here. However, I think there’s a lot of things like holding this park back. Mainly, its operations. Like the park operations can be very slow here. I mean, it is nice that they can like explain to the guests some of the safety measures, but sometimes like when there’s just like one or two train ops, it can really just like add to the, you know, the dispatch times and especially for a ride like Einika. I really wish I could have ridden that more than once. But it’s just the operations are really bad on that ride. But otherwise, that like seriously like I can’t believe a park like this like has possibly the best coaster in the world. Like that’s actually like wild. But I’m so glad I got to ride it. I wasn’t even expecting it to be I was expecting it to be really good, but not that good. Like my goodness. I also like this part cuz like the views here are amazing. Like the mountains surrounding. I think I finally got to see like I I’m finally now seeing like the peak of Mount Fuji. Some of the clouds moved out of the way of the peak and just some awesome views. So that’s really cool. That’s really cool that like a big park is right by such a big like natural landmark. So that’s really cool. What did you think of our park visit today? That was very fun. I’m glad we came here. We got to ride some of the major coasters on Fiji Q. And I think one of the Was it Fujiamyama? Uh yeah. Fijiama. That one that one was interesting, but I actually liked it. It went up really high. You get to stuff. So anyway, I hope y’all enjoyed this video. Be sure to like, comment, subscribe, and be sure to turn on post notifications for more theme park related content like this.
