Good evening, everyone, new on reddit, hope you will help with this.
I checked this (originally) Phoenix 1.8 NBLF MX5.
The owner claim he swapped in a 6 speed, IL MOTORSPORT aluminium radiator, SASSA rollbar, KW Var.1 Inox coilovers, aftermarket bushings of some kind, mohair top, strutbar from sport model.
The original steering wheels and seats are available too, i didnt took pics of them but they looked ok.
The car engine felt/sounded ok and so was the gearshift. From the rear, squeaky noise came and while the owner "thought" it was the boot latch, the car was making same noises from left AND right when leaning on it with my weight at car still.
Also i want to know what you think about the suspensions (i think the noise is from the rear and i felt some leak from the right one) and the rust(some on the rear part of the rockers) and the pain chip on rear 3/4.
Also front left 3/4 was repainted(in overcast light its slightly darker than the hood), apparently the car had a small fender bender of sort.
The guy is asking for 11K € 1 which for ITALY would be GREAT for a 1.8 with (claimed) 145k KM. But im not sure this is the right car for the money.
Please chip in with opinions!
