Okinawa is Japan’s paradise

Ah, Okinawa, Japan. Not stinky normal, but the place with incredible vibes and food. And if you skip this ad, I swear I’m telling my mom. Sakuro is a monthly subscription based snack box that delivers more than just snacks from Japan. They send you a picture of my mom yelling at my brother and I for playing in the stream while grandma prepares some fish. A fairly intimate photo, and I have no idea how they got this. Sakuro sends you artisan snacks from various snack makers all over the country. And this month’s location is Okinawa. And this month’s tea is Sam Pincha. Okinawa’s special blend of jasmine and lightly fermented green tea leaves. Something I didn’t even know existed until I went to Okinawa. Just like the something I didn’t even know I wanted. Look at this bowl. It’s gorgeous. Made in Japan. And you can use it to eat Cinnamon Toast Crunch. But let’s get to these snacks cuz this might be my favorite box yet. Every sweet I ate in Okinawa was absolutely incredible. Particularly cuz they’re not afraid of sugar and butter. And that translates wonderfully into this box. It’s a nice mix of the traditional and the modern with all the must try ingredients like purple potato. But my favorite was this gorgenola seaweed. It sounds disgusting, but this might be one of my favorite snacks ever. And you know what else is disgusting? not using the code japani25 to save five bucks off your box and support the channel.Uum

  1. That is one nice looking Nintendo glass you've got there, it would be a shame if someone were to steal it…

  2. The crazy hot hummer this year makes the coolest is Okinawa while hottest is Sapporo and Tokyo on the same day, jeez

  3. I’ve thought Okinawa looked dope ever since I saw Blood+ as a kid. I had a friend in college who spent a few months free-climbing on those big-rock spires coming out the ocean in the area. Dude always talked about it like it was the most gorgeous place on Earth.

  4. @japaneat Funny how this one says Japan is "not stinky" but the first line in the next short is literally about being stinky in Japan lol
