Horonobe Town’s major event, the Horonobe Meirin Park Festival, will be held on August 9th (Sat) and 10th (Sun). The first day’s stage performance will kick off with a performance by the Horonobe Junior High School brass band, followed by a live performance by Horonobe Town Tourism Ambassador Hitoshi Inoue and Horokanai Sobanosato Ambassador Shudai Uesugi, who will liven up the venue. As night falls, Maneda Seiko and Jo Minami will perform on the main stage.
On the second day, there will be a Number One Sentai Gojuja show, a Fruity stage show, a fun raffle with great prizes, a tug-of-war tournament for cash prizes, a traditional Domannaka Dance Parade, a virtual Bon Odori dance competition for children and adults, and finally, a fireworks display that will fill the night sky with a magnificent display of flowers to close the festival. There will also be various exhibition booths and food trucks, so be sure to come and visit the venue.
