Best sushi restaurant in Osaka? π£ #shorts #japan #sushi
Could this sushi place in Japan be worth a 90-minute wait? Itβs day 18 of our journey around the world and today we find ourselves hunting for lunch in the heart of Osaka. There are so many restaurants lining this bustling street of Shinsekai, but Aaron insisted on this sushi joint with a man staring at us from above. Waiting an hour and a half and sighing 437 times wasnβt exactly how I imagined spending my day. Finally, we were seated inside. Most of the seating in this restaurant is at the counter and I got to admit: watching the chefs make sushi right in front of us was like watching magic happen. It was like witnessing a sushi orchestra, and we were in the front row. We ordered a long plate of sushi with our favorites like the salmon and ikura, and a few unfamiliar mystery items like the pollock roe and the mackerel. Each delicate bite felt like a love letter from the sea – simple yet extraordinary. Our favorite was still the tuna. It was so fresh it practically melted in our mouths perfectly complemented by the vinegary rice. Honestly, I almost bailed a couple of times during the wait, but I’m glad Aaron convinced me to stay.
