It’s nearly impossible to keep up with the schedules that Pharrell Williams and NIGO have. Both are knee deep in fashion, music, and design, yet they still have time to work on new projects, like the recently announced joint venture with Not a Hotel, JAPA VALLEY TOKYO.
Inspired by Napa Valley in California, JAPA VALLEY TOKYO will be located near Yurakucho Station and aims to open in 2027. This hectare will have event spaces and pop-up stores for art, food, and fashion. One of the biggest draws will be artwork from KAWS, envisioned directly in the middle of the hospitality precinct.
JAPA VALLEY TOKYO will be a tourist hub for only a limited time. It will be built on a space in Yurakcho Park before the area commences construction of a new building complex. This means that the scarcity that Pharrell and NIGO have learned from the fashion industry is now being applied to real estate and tourism.
