Tour de Kyushu Preview: Cycling Yame’s Tea Fields | ツールド九州2025 プレビュー

[Music] Kumamon tea fields and a ride under the summer sun. A taste of the tour to Kyushu 2025. We rode part of the Fukuoka stage through the Yame Tea Fields for some stunning views. Then some more leisurely cycling along the banks of the Yab River and of course a pit stop for sweets made with local honey. A bit more riding and then back on board the cycle cargo bus. What a day. Kuman is ready. Are you tour dyushu October 10th to the 13th?

Join us for a taste of Tour de Kyushu 2025 with a ride through southern Fukuoka’s Yame region! After the pre-event ceremony at JR Hakata Station, I rode alongside cycling influencers Beki (@beki_no_ikubeki) and Tomomi (@tomoooooch) and some of the VC Fukuoka pro riders.

We hit part of the official Fukuoka Stage route, climbed through Yame’s famous tea fields, cruised along the Yabe River, and even stopped for sweets made with local honey.

The full race happens October 13–15, 2025, across five prefectures: Nagasaki, Fukuoka, Kumamoto, Miyazaki, and Oita.
