Biei Patchwork Road Walking Tour [Binaural]
Hello YouTube. To wrap up my trip to Hokkaido, I’d like to show you a place called Patchwork Road. Unfortunately, I ran into a bit of an issue. I normally shoot in 4K HDR to give you the clearest visuals possible, but this time, the camera settings somehow got messed up, and the footage ended up in 1080p SDR. I actually thought about scrapping the video, but I still really wanted to share the beauty of Biei with you so I decided to upload it anyway. The views were honestly much more stunning in real life, and I’m very frustrated that I couldn’t capture them the way I wanted. But if enough of you enjoy this video, I might consider coming back to film it properly. I’m truly sorry that I couldn’t deliver my usual level of quality this time. But I still hope you enjoy this video. Anyway, let’s get started!
Join us for the final video of my Hokkaido trip as I take you to the picturesque “Patchwork Road” in Biei — a beautiful area known for its wide-open landscapes, colorful fields, and serene rural charm. While I usually film in 4K HDR to capture every detail, an unexpected camera issue left this video in 1080p SDR. Despite that, I didn’t want to miss the chance to share this stunning location with you. The scenery was truly breathtaking in person, and I hope this video still gives you a glimpse of its magic. If many of you enjoy it, I may come back to capture it properly in the future. Thank you for your understanding — and as always, enjoy the walk!

Everything is so beautiful
@VSV_Japan If you upscale the video to 4k before uploading to YT the 1080p quality will be better than if you uploaded a 1080p video as the YT processing degrades the video.
This seriously looks like Tuscany in Italy 😮 Japan never ceases to impress!!
Wow what a beautiful day to film this!
Stunning, absolutely stunning, now I have a reason to visit japan in the summer
