Spam Musubi Galore
You’ve never had spam musubi like this before. We found this tiny stand in Naha called Pomusubi. And as spam musubi lovers, we had to stop. First up, spam fries. Hot, crispy, and served in an actual spam can. Then we tried two musubis. One with goya, which had a great crunch and that classic Okinawan bitter flavor, and another with pineapple. Sweet, tangy, and it totally reminded me of baked ham with pineapple. They’ve got a bunch of creative options, but they sell fast, so come
Spam musubi, but make it Okinawan 🍙✨
We stopped by a new stand in Naha called Pomusubi — and it totally delivered.
Crispy spam fries served in actual cans (how fun is that?), plus two musubi:
🥒 Goya (bitter melon) for that crunchy, bitter bite
🍍 Pineapple — sweet, tangy, and totally addictive
They offer a huge variety of flavors and sell out fast, so go early if you want the best selection!

Canned SPAM meats are NOT real foods, let alone real meats. These are all processed products with artificial tastes, artificial flavours, artificial colouring, lots of additives and lots of preservatives that are VERY UNHEALTHY for human consumption.
“You’ve never had spam Musubi like this before.” Me, in the American Midwest, “I mean, he’s not wrong…”
What wonderful musubi flavors! I would love to try the bitter melon one! I think the bitter vegetal crunch would pair beautifully with the salty fatty spam.
