They can shower down when the train brushes the trees Finally, we arrived at Lavender-Farm Station It was fun riding on an ancient train for an hour It is a 500 m walk to Farm Tomita Everyone was heading in the same direction The walk was easy, with views of melon farms I was so happy to see how they grow melon They look so yummy!!! This is an eating area with restaurants and cafes There’s pizza, burger, curry and rice dishes For melon lovers, it is an absolutely heaven! Look at the Furano melon~ It was so juicy, sweet and perfectly ripe 🥰 It represented the spirit of Hokkaido’s summer very well You can even arrange for melon home delivery! Melon soft serve was so creamy~ It was delicious to eat with the juicy Furano melon! I wish I could go back to have it again~ Farm Tomita is the most popular flower field in Furano It is FREE to enter the flower farm It is HUGE!!! Visitors can walk freely through the fields There’s nice paths to walk amongst the flowers Everyone will have their own space to enjoy the blooms There are plaques with details about the plants Let’s enjoy Farm Tomita together~ The fields were stunning with blooming flowers I love that the flowers were perfectly arranged in lines Everywhere was so beautiful to look ☺️ Lavender is the star! Look at the colour…so purple~ I wish everyone could smell the lavender So lavendery~ 🥰 There are cafes selling lavender soft serve This one comes with the best view of the flowers The lavender soft serve was extra yummy with the views Apart from the flower fields, there are lovely buildings The small houses are cafes, shops and exhibitions This one is an art gallery showing wonderful pictures This is a greenhouse It is used to take care of delicate flowers Explore these houses before crossing the road The other side only has flower fields If you decide to climb up, it is a long walk Don’t forget to bring water with you on a hot day This is the “Traditional Lavender Field” It was a bit steep to walk up It is easier to see from this angle… A short climb rewards you with these views It was so beautiful~ The top of the hill was easier to walk up The view was so romantic~ I could see the mighty mountain over there ☺️ The next field is the “Lavender Forest Field” So many types of lavender grow here I liked the different shades of purple Lovely to see these variations in one place The Norokko train was passing by I just noticed that the head of the train can push and pull So cute~ The White Birch Forest is at the top of the hill The bark is totally white It is very different to other trees So awesome to stand next to the trees The Hilltop Field was full of colour! The poppy flowers fully bloom in July The mix of colour was amazing! All of them were so beautiful to look at The poppy field was my favourite I was glad to be able to see these colourful flowers Walking to the next field… This is the “Forest Field” I was standing at the top of the hill I could clearly see the lines of flowers This was like the scene I saw from a postcard Walking along the flower fields was a dream come true The “Irodori Field” over there was full of colour It looked even better from the viewing platform So lovely~ Time to catch the train home… Make sure to save at least 15 mins to walk back The station is on the other side of the road They will put the barrier down before the train comes Don’t stuck at the wrong side of the station! A lot of people were already at the platform The Norokko train arrived on time It really is a special train I’ve heard that the train will be terminated in 2026 If you plan to go to Furano, try to use the Norokko Riding the train will make your trip more memorable~ The flowers fully bloom around June-August I visited on 4th July, the lavender fields were beautiful Farm Tomita is really big, it is easy to find a space Most visitors stay around the front fields Hanabito, Sakiwai, Spring and Autumn Fields are busy If you like less people, the further fields are quite empty You can enjoy the flowers in peace People spend about 2-4 hours at Farm Tomita I had lunch/soft serves and visited shops for about 1 hour I walked from the right to the left hill in about 2 hours Just don’t forget to add 15 mins to walk to the train Farm Tomita website has a weather forecast and webcam You can take a look before going on the day I went on a rainy day, but it was still beautiful Other people didn’t seem to be bothered by the rain If you go on a sunny day, don’t forget to bring water Flower fields have no cover, just a few trees I hope you will have a great time at Farm Tomita I really loved my time here If you like my video with the information I gave you… …please click Like and Subscribe for me~ 🥰 Thank you and see you in the next video
