Hakata Island (Hakatajima) is located along the Shimanami Kaido in the Seto Inland Sea.
Right at the base of the bridge, you’ll find Hakata SC Park, a roadside station that directly connects to Hakata Beach, making it easy and convenient to access.

The beach area offers a large parking lot, as well as shops and a casual restaurant, making it a popular rest stop for cyclists.
At the end of the beach, toilets and showers are available, and the facilities are well maintained.

It’s a lively beach often visited by families, and the view of the sea is spectacular.
Nearby, you can also visit the Dolphin Farm Shimanami, where you can enjoy hands-on marine experiences.
