Let’s go. We’re heading to the African Safari in Kyushu. Our guide said it’s going to take roughly around 2 to 2 and 1/2 hours to get there. We just stopped for a quick bathroom break. Still about 1 to 1 and 1/2 hours to go. I can’t read your mind. [Music] I can’t read your mind. I know that you don’t like to be alone. You need someone to hold. It’s what you need the most. I know you’ve waited for a night like this. One that you won’t forget. You’re thinking yes. I can read your mind. We made it. We’re finally here at Kyushu African Safari. Slight change of plans. The official safari bus was fully booked because apparently everyone had the same great idea today. Who knew 145 people might need advanced notice? [Music] So, we’re riding our own bus, aka the Safari Family Express. No giraffe feed, but we’ve got snacks, cousins, and chaos. Honestly, that’s more fun. Watch out animals. The entire clan just rolled in. This isn’t a tour. It’s a family reunion on wheels. I can’t read your mind. I can’t read your mind. [Music] I can’t read your mind. It’s honestly beautiful. The scenery is peaceful. Eagles. [Music] I know you want to take it all. into the stars. I know you want the dreams to come to life. I know just what you like. Don’t be surprised. I can read your mind. I can read your mind. [Music] Kyushu African safari is insane in the best way possible. You’re surrounded by nature, animals just vibing, and views that make you forget you’re still in Japan. [Music] I know that you don’t like to be alone. [Music] Did you know that Safari is home to over 70 species of animals from Africa, Asia, and beyond? [Music] There are over 1,400 animals here, including lions, tigers, elephants, cheetahs, zebras, camels, and even capibaras. [Music] It opened in 1976 and it’s one of the biggest drive-thru safaris in Japan. [Music] [Music] This place is over 115 hectares of wild open space, giving the animals tons of room to roam. There they are. The safari buses we dreamed of riding, but no, we were too many. The buses were like, “Not today, Hernandis family.” [Music] That wraps up our wild adventure at Kishu African Safari. From watching the animal feeding to chasing group photos with 145 family members, this was definitely one for the books. Now it’s time for lunch on the bus. [Music] I can’t read your mind. No full on centenur, no dramatic steam, just a quiet little corner. [Music] [Music] It wasn’t bad. It just felt like we got into the intro version of Beu. Like Beu Light. Still glad I tried it, though. This place is tiny, but it’s packed with charm. Mini houses, souvenir shops, animal cafes, and everything looks like it came out of a studio. Gibli movie.
