YouTube channel Latha and Prem Around the World We are absolutely thrilled to finally share our 
incredible travel adventures with all of you So far we have traveled 59 
countries across six continents This channel is our way of inviting you 
to come along on these adventures with us Our goal is to inspire you and simply share the 
joy and wonder that comes from seeing the world Our very first episode is the city of both 
tradition and future That is Tokyo Japan Tokyo holds a special place in our hearts

story at a time Let’s go around the world As our plane came down in Tokyo we 
got this amazing bird’s eye view The city looked so cool with all 
these blocks of buildings spread out Then we saw a river gliding through 
the city like a silver ribbon The plane landed right near the blue 
sea making the whole view incredible It was a beautiful mix of city and nature It’s Monorail time
Our Tokyo arrival began uniquely Robots greeted us at reception 
where no humans in sight It was an interesting start 
engaging with the automated staff They efficiently guided us through the check-in process making for a truly memorable and 
futuristic welcome to the city [Music] At the Tokyo train station the 
elevator utterly fascinated us It had a unique sequence first descending then 
briefly leveling only to descend again This unusual two-stage drop was unlike anything we had 
seen making for a surprisingly captivating journey Our two boys absolutely loved Go-karting in Tokyo They got to zoom around the city streets in 
cool costumes driving through famous spots It is super popular because it is a unique and fun 
way for tourists to see Tokyo feeling like you are in a real life video game
They had a blast We were on the hunt for an animation 
bookstore and the boys were super excited They could not wait to grab some awesome new books Japan has amazing cat toys because 
Japanese people really love cats Cats are seen as lucky and cute so they 
get lots of affection and fun gadgets The Tokyo Sky Tree finished in 2012 
is a massive tower standing at 634 m To compare that is nearly double the height 
of the famous Eiffel Tower in Paris Tourists flock to the Sky tree for its incredible panoramic 
views of Tokyo where you can see the entire city spread out below like a huge map
And this is just one angle goes all the way around It’s not just for sightseeing It 
is also a major broadcasting tower Every year around 4 to 6 million visitors come 
to experience this breathtaking height and enjoy the shops and restaurants at its base
The view from up is truly unforgettable So in Japan you have stamps from major stations
Japan stations have Eki stamps, free collectible stamps with unique 
designs reflecting the local area Tourists love collecting them in notebooks as 
free fun souvenuirs and to mark their journey The Senoji Temple is Tokyo’s oldest and 
most famous temple built way back in 645 AD It is very popular because it’s a 
beautiful peaceful escape in the busy city The temple bell rung 108 times on 
New Year’s Eve, purifies desires People love to visit its grand thunder gates, beautiful Pagoda to pray and soak in its long 
history and traditional Japanese atmosphere Shinjuku crossing at night in 
Tokyo is a neon lit bustling hub It is often compared to New York’s Time Square Shinjuku station is the world’s busiest with 
over 3.5 million people passing through daily It has 52 platforms serving numerous train lines
Tourists visit to experience this iconic scene take photos and feel the 
pulse of the bustling city Shibuya crossing a chaotic 
yet mesmerizing spectacle It is a mustsee in Tokyo
While Shibuya station opened in 1885 The famous Scramble Crossing as we know 
it really took its modern form around 1932 It is famous for being one of the busiest 
pedestrian intersections in the world Estimates suggest over 2.4 million people cross 
it daily on weekdays with even more on weekends Shibuya Sky is a super tall building in Tokyo, that lets you see amazing views of the city
It opened in November 2019 So it is quite new Lots of people visit Shibuya Sky every day
It is so popular that you often need to buy tickets online beforehand especially 
if you want to go around sunset Everything is lit up
During the day you can see all over Tokyo from the top
You will spot famous places like Tokyo Tower and Tokyo Sky Tree
If the weather is good you might even see Mount Fuji
It is amazing to see how big Tokyo is from up high When the sun goes down, Shibuya 
sky becomes even more special The city lights twinkle like 
a million stars below you There is also a cool light show called crossing 
light that happens every half an hour after dark Bright lights shine up into the sky 
making the view even more beautiful and showing off Tokyo’s modern exciting side Meiji Jingu Shrine is a beautiful and 
peaceful place in the heart of Tokyo The shrine is surrounded by huge 
man-made forest of about 100,000 trees These trees were donated from all 
over Japan when the shrine was built creating a quiet escape from the busy city
There are two specific globe like trees on both sides that are famous attractions to the Shrine
It was built in 1920 to honor Emperor “Meiji” and his wife Empress “Shoken”
They were very important leaders who helped Japan become a modern country
When you walk towards the shrine you will see a unique sight: a tall wall of sake barrels
These aren’t just for decoration, they are offerings from sake brewers 
all over Japan to the shrine’s deities Sake is nothing but Japanese rice 
wine Has a strong connection to Shinto Japan’s traditional religion as it is 
believed to bring people closer to the gods [Music] Hello Hello If it is your first time a 
“Tokyo Cat Cafe” is a treat You pay a fee usually by the hour to 
relax in a room full of friendly cats You can pet them watch them play or 
just enjoy their company with a drink It’s a fun and unique way to unwind 
and experience Japanese culture [Applause] Getting to Odaiba in Tokyo is an 
exciting part of the adventure You can take an elevated and driverless train
It offers amazing views of Tokyo Bay and even crosses the Rainbow Bridge
It is like a scenic ride itself Stepping off at station Shin-Toyosu, you are 
near the famous Team Lab planets of Tokyo We are excited to experience 
the beauty of Team Lab The infinite crystal universe is 
a breathtaking room that feels like stepping into a starry galaxy
You walk into a huge space filled with countless sparkling LED lights 
hanging down like shimmering strings These lights create the illusion of 
an endless universe all around you What is even cooler is that you can 
use a smartphone app to choose stars to throw into the universe and watch 
as they light up and change the artwork making it unique every moment you are there
It is a truly dazzling and interactive experience Good evening guys
We are in team lab Tokyo and this is one of the art works where we’re all standing in 
the water all around – all around – all the fishes and the flower, we spend like 10 to 15 minutes in 
this area and then move on to the next artwork. It’s full of fishes, and light has been 
projected, At least I’m able to show Prem now and all are standing in the water, Can 
you see it’s water. this is so quite amazing One of the most magical parts of team lab planets 
in Tokyo is “drawing on the water surface” created by the “Dance of Koi and people”
You take off your shoes and wade barefoot into shallow water
The digital koi fish swim all around you But here is the cool part, When the fish touch you or other people they 
don’t just swim awa,y instead they change into beautiful digital flowers and scatter 
across the water The art is always changing So every step you take creates a new unique 
show of flowers blooming around your feet Falling Universe of Flowers is 
a truly mesmerizing experience You step into a large semi-circular 
room where countless digital flowers bloom and scatter all around you
The art is always changing created by a computer in real time 
so it’s never the same twice [Music] You can sit or even lie 
down and it feels like your body is floating dissolving into this 
beautiful endless world of flowers It is a peaceful and immersive 
journey through the cycle of nature [Music] [Music] Lord falling on you [Music] Floating Flower Garden is a 
truly enchanting experience You enter a room filled with thousands of 
real or orchids hanging from the ceiling As you walk through the flowers magically 
rise up creating an open space around you It feels like you are floating in a vibrant living garden with a sweet scent 
of orchids filling the air The artwork constantly changes as people move 
making each visit unique and incredibly beautiful guessing, Let’s go Yeah I see the exit The “Moss Garden of Resonating Microcosms” is 
an outdoor area filled with many egg-shaped objects called ovoids sitting on soft moss
During the day these ovoids reflect the sunlight, but as dusk turns to dawn they 
begin to glow with their own light If you gently push an ovoid it will 
sway and make a beautiful sound The nearby ovoids will also light up and make 
sounds creating a ripple effect of light and music that spreads across the garden
It is a magical experience that changes with the time of day and how 
people interact with it [Music] [Music]
