Yokohama Cup Noodles Museum – A MUST-VISIT for Instant Noodle Lovers! πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅

Welcome to Cup Noodle Museum. Hey everyone, welcome back to the channel. Today, we’re at the Yokohama Cup Noodle
Museum. A place where instant ramen dreams come
true. If you love noodles as much as I do,
you’re going to want to see this. Let’s go inside. This was world’s first instant noodle made
in 1958. Before we get to the fun stuff,
let’s talk history. In 1958, a Japanese businessman named
Momofuku changed the world forever. He invented instant ramen. This is where the magic happened. He tried over 100 recipes
before finally creating chicken ramen, the first ever instant noodle. And guess what? It only cost 35 yen back then. The idea of putting instant noodle in a
cup started in America. Looks like China eats the most cup noodles
in the whole entire world. Now over 100 billion serving are eaten
every year. That’s a lot of noodles. Look at this thousands of cup noodles
variety. There’s melon soda flavors, tong yum,
even chocolate. This is the most popular attraction here. You get to make your own cup noodles. First, you buy a cup for 500 yen. Then it’s time to get creative. See, this is the area where you draw your
cup noodles. I draw a purple guy from anime. I draw a car and another car but with a
spoiler. Okay, our looks unique. But the real fun comes next. Choosing the flavours. This tossing technique is what gave
instant noodle the iconic design. The same technique is still used in
today’s instant cup noodles factories. You can pick up to 12 different toppings. We added a potato and crab meat. And also eggs. No cup noodle is good without the eggs. A fresh lid is slapped on and a thin
plastic film is wrapped around the cup. Heat is then applied to melt the edges,
creating an airtight seal. Look at this beauty. Ready to take back home. We even made it float in air inside this bag. It might be a small place but
we learned some cool facts about the history of instant
noodles during our visit today. Entries was just 500 yen for adults. And kids were free. If you’re up for a little adventure,
there’s Cosmo World Amusement Park. With a cable car and a ferris wheel. Perfect for catching some amazing view of
Yokohama Bay. Thank you for watching and we’ll see you
in the next one.
