Boling is now a director for the consulting firm Eurasia Group, and he’s got a close eye on Japanese politics. It’s a dicey topic right now, with Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba and his Liberal Democratic Party seemingly losing favor with voters over punishing inflation rates.
