Looking to get a 8th gen civic, or 7th gen civic and also considering the 7th gen accord but I’m more lenient towards 8th gen civic. So I’ve been racking up money nonstop last 2 months and managed to get around 4k. Ive wantes a rsx ar first but theyre either clapped or past 160k miles. So i decided on a civic/accord. I recently sent out a post and got more positive feedback on the 8th gen civic to make it look jdm like and also to learn to work on throughout my senior year and above, and I’m looking for some and FOUND SOME IN MY BUDGET, but the only thing is that i do want some bit of power to play with buti only see dx and lx models in my budget that arent clapped. Should i check some of those out or wait until i see a ex trim in my budget?

JDM cars are 25 years old or older if you’re in the US and cost a lot to purchase, insure, and maintain.

Dude you’re thinking and doing too much. Honestly stick with the RSX since parts are super easy and cheap and they are pretty easy to work on so doing the maintenance yourself is pretty easy and cheap if you have the right tools. Your a new driver looking for a first car so as a beginner driver this is a good starter car with good stock power even when clapped
