Aircrew Survival Equipmentman Airman Briana Cook, from Miami, assigned to the “Golden Eagles” of Patrol Squadron (VP) 9, participates in a language exchange with Okinawan students during a community relations event led by Commander, Fleet Activities Okinawa (CFAO) at a school in Uruma, Japan, July 15, 2025. The event provided students with the opportunity to practice English by interacting with native speakers, while also strengthening the U.S.-Japan ties through cultural exchange. CFAO maintains and operates facilities to support United Nations Command-Rear missions, coalition and allied partners, U.S. Navy ships, submarines, and aircraft, and Joint Force assets in the Indo-Pacific region.
