Things to do at the expo when it’s 90 plus degrees or pouring rain and you don’t want to wait in long lines outside. [Music]
What to do when the weather is crappy outside 🥵 Part 23 of our adventures at the Osaka World Expo 2025! 🇯🇵
It’s brutally hot in Japan right now with 90+ degree (32+ degree Celsius) weather 🔥 and what’s even worse if it’s muggy and raining! ☔️ After spending 7 days at the World Expo in all kinds of weather, here’s our top list of things to do when the weather is terrible and you really don’t want to wait in long lines:
– Check out one of the Commons Pavilions (our favorites were Commons B and C)
– Try cool restaurants, food halls, or cooking classes
– Walk under the Grand Ring
– Get lost in misty, cooling fog (located between Earth Mart and Jellyfish Pavilions)
– Go to pavilions with walk-in areas (such as Sumitomo, Gas, Jellyfish, and Osaka Healthcare)
– Shop Myaku Myaku souvenirs and snacks
– Chill in the ice room
– Discover the cutest cats at the shipping center by the West Gate
– See limited edition Expo stamps at the post office by the West Gate
– Check out rotating exhibits at the Wasse Center
– Get a foot massage at the East Ringside Marketplace
– Visit Future Life Village
In addition, some of the pavilion lines are shaded or are partially shaded which helps with the heat and rain like – Korea, Osaka x Iida Group, and the Women’s Pavilion.
