A little timeline of the castle:
1334: The castle was first constructed by Wada Takaie.
 16th Century: The castle was rebuilt, possibly by Koide Hidemasa, to monitor unrest in Wakayama Prefecture.
 1827: The castle’s original main keep was destroyed by lightning.
 1954: The current three-story castle tower was rebuilt.

Osakaa! Great vid, loved seeing the Kishiwada Castle gardens. The weather looked gorgeous! Hope to visit someday!
